There are several sections to this park. The Hotel/Lodge that is fair at best. The campground is well kept with large camping spots. A very nice pedestrian/bike path winds it's way north of the campground and all the way up to Marina in Winthrop Harbor

If the warning signs about asbestos found on the beach are not enough to keep you away from this place, then you should check its neighbours on Internet. About one mile to the north on the shore is a shut down nuclear plant with 1100...More

There is no fee to enter the park and there is no fee for parking and no fee for swimming. In my opinion, the best beach is one-quarter mile walk from the parking lot at the nature area (take the "beach trail"). In the... More
