After seeing so many excelent sites, the old capital of Memphis has nothing to show. Only a laying colossal statue of a pharao and little more. Better spend the time somewhere else.

This is an outdoor museum of sorts on the site of the old city. The big statue of Ramses II is covered to help protect it so be sure to see it. It does not take long to visit.
