This is a classic, family-friendly arcade. Games include all the classics (Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Galaga, Q*Bert, etc.), fighting games, shooters, driving games, pinball and some boardwalk classics like Skee-Ball and air hockey. If you've ever wanted to try out a classic console, handheld game or computer, the Retrocade has those too. A paid admission allows to come and go as you please and allows you to enjoy the fine dining establishments and pubs in the immediate area. Great fun for all. You will not be disappointed!…

This place is definitely worth a visit! The arcade games are clean and well maintained! Also very nice staff! The owner loves talking about retro computers and video games. Don’t judge him as soon as you walk in! If you talk with him, he’s really friendly and will answer any questions. He’s strict about rules so the arcade machines won’t Be damaged and so the place remains family friendly. Please make a stop! They have almost every arcade machine you can imagine! It’s definitely worth it!…

Although there are many other things that make this place one of my favorites there are a few things that make the place kinda uncomfortable for me. The guy at the front counter looked a little grumpy although he was nice he just has that personality that you dont want to bother him. I was going to be there till 11pm (there closing time) but the store owner or manager kinda rudely kicked us out by not asking us to please leave but instead he turned off all the games whale we were in the middle of playing and said time to leave exactly at 10pm insted if there original closing time posted online (11pm) then we left and there were a group of people talking to the owner and hanging out with him. It seemed unprofessional to me and my mom. Overall though the trip was fun.…

One of my favorites stops when visitting West Dundee. For 15 bucks you get unlimitted play all day of classic games, and they seem to have all the classics. They keep them in good working condition. They also rotate in a new game or pinball machine now and then. Nice people - family run business.…
