I absolutely love this place. Sadly I only was there for a day but the scuba diving was amazing. The amount of things there are to see is out of this world. I dive for a couple hours and didn't even scratch the surface. I will be back. Amazing place. Only complaint is you can't bring dogs but still love... More

I really can’t say enough good things about Mermet Springs. My son and I both used them initially for an open water referral and they couldn’t have helped us anymore. From the owner down to every staff member there is nothing but professionalism and friendliness. I have since been there many times and it is always consistence and a true... More

This weekend I took a drysuit course at Mermet Springs Scuba. On Saturday the 22nd I received one on one instruction from Jay who not only taught me the basics+ of drysuit diving but had actually dove in the Antarctic! The course included classroom training and skills testing safely on their submerged platforms. DUI (the drysuit manufacturer) used to hold... More

First class facilities. Our instructors, Terry & Terrance were skilled educators and provided a positive, effective learning experience. Everyone we met was super friendly & helpful.

We live about 45 miles from Mermet Springs and have dove there about 8 times, even took a dry suit class there since the water is always cold. Visibility is always bad. It's the nearest dive site for me so it's always tempting to go, but I'll never go again. Pennyroyal, KY isn't that much farther and has warmer water... More

They got me back into my comfort zone and I had a great couple of dives. There staff are well trained and very professional in all aspects of diving ,equipment and con ed. They... More

We have decided to get back into scuba diving after a 8 year hiatus and Mermet Springs was recommended to us. We watched their video before leaving home and was impressed with the facilities and professional setup; the video does not due their organization full justice as all aspects are better than depicted. My husband and I have had a... More

Mermet Springs was a quarry "back in the day". It currently boasts the airplane from US Marshalls, a firetruck and spoonbill fish that are huge. This is where I learned to scuba (several years ago) and the staff were excellent.

My husband and I are master divers but had not been in the water in a couple of years. We were diving in the Caribbean and wanted to do a check of our skills. Since we now live in KY instead of CT there are not as many places to dive. This is a quarry that they have turned into... More
