The first section of the trail (14 or 15 k) near Victoria is pretty urban. It really starts to get nice about mile post 20K and then is a great ride up to Sooke Potholes Park at about milepost 50K

We rode the Goose on what was the start of our bike ride on the TCT. In all we rode to Princeton. This was one of the funnest sections of the TCT we rode. If you are in Victoria and have the time, it would...More

My husband and I, both avid cyclists, spent our last day in Victoria exploring the cycling trails. The network is fairly well developed and extends quite far into Colwood, Sooke and ultimately Leechtown from downtown Victoria (about 55 km) and connects with other bike paths,...More

Live about 20 feet away from Kilometre 12 on the Goose. My dog Coco and I love this paved trail and will either do this walk instead of Thetis Lake or in combo. Lovely walk to Goldstream Road and then we walk over to the...More

The blackberries abound in August. Bring your pail and appetite. The trail is easy, paved for a while and then packed gravel.

What a a treasure! Miles (and kilometers!) of mostly easy, flat smooth trails from Victoria's harbor to the countryside, with parks and views along the way. If coming back to the city, a stop at Fol Epi bakery is highly recommended!

We'll be arriving from Port Angeles and would like to ride the seaside route from Victoria to Cadboro Bay. Are the bike lanes safe for this? Approximately what is the distance? Thank you very much.
