A fabulous sight in cold February. Short walk from the free car park after a great drive across empty countryside. I would have loved to have walked behind it, but it isn't possible in winter. Seeing that water fall from so high up was great....More

It looks spectacular in pictures - all seasons and when we arrived in February it was half-frozen, but with a main overflow still pumping loads of water into a pond below. Cool spray from the falls so dress appropriately.

Even in low morning light in winter, it was a pretty waterfall with smaller ones nearby. Can't walk behind in the winter, but it is worth the stop.

Beautiful waterfall. Worth the visit. Very busy and parking was crazy but well worth it. I would recommend.

This is yet another beautiful waterfall in Iceland, specifically the south region. The unique feature about this waterfall is that you can walk behind it.

This is one of the best-known waterfalls in Iceland because of its closeness to the ring road, and it’s stunning as you see it coming up! There is pay parking there, but you can stay a while because there are multiple waterfalls here. It gets...More

We visited these falls first going to the Skogafoss. These falls are a tall single cascade from a great height.

Ever been on the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland? Long-standing joke about the back side of water? Well, at Seljalandsfoss, you can really see the back side of water. This is one of literally millions of waterfalls(foss) in Iceland. Located on the southern coast and near...More

Even in the non stop rain it’s a gorgeous place. Made the waterfall even better having so much more water pouring down. Other little waterfalls along the cliff you can walk to so a good stop of on our tour made it all the more...More
