I'm great with directions and had several lighthouse maps and online directions and still struggled to find this. One branch in the road (2 sets of directions said to take) was posted as private property. So if you didn't take that branch and continued on, the other way directions told you to go was up a private road. I turned... More

It is absolutely true that this is hard to find, and without the occasional sign pointing "lighthouse", at just those moments when doubt about this little excursion creeps in, it would be easy to say NOPE, let's go back to Bath and get some ice cream....It IS however, worth the trip. It gives one a clue about what tending a... More

This is a quaint little lighthouse in an area with nice views. Half the fun is getting there! The lighthouse is out of the way and involves dirt roads. There is probably enough parking for about 3 vehicles. If you are hungry, not much further away is a restaurant called, The Osprey Restaurant, Georgetown, ME. The lobster bruschetta was amazing.

This old lighthouse was built at the turn of the 20th century and was restored in phases throughout the same. We drove out to Arrowsic from Brunswick as something to do at the end of the day. This lighthouse is off the beaten path and might have been difficult to find without a navigation system. Once you turn off the... More

Situated at a secluded area, might not be one of the most visited lighthouses in Maine but it is worth a visit. Well restored, at a gorgeous location.

Doubling Point lighthouse is a beautiful lighthouse that has a long wooden walkway out to it. the grounds are well manicured and while a bit hard to find and only a few parking spots, its worth the drive.
