It's like a mix of Tiger King and an ghost town. The pictures online are from years ago. There are "stores" open; the general store which has canned soda, food, and a lot of dust and a musty smell. I was very disappointed with it, luckily I didn't have to drive far because we were already visiting the area.

We went to Love Valley with our granddaughter on Saturday 7/18/2020 for a day trip. It is such a cute small Western town to walk thru. They have horses to rent and trail rides. There are campgrounds to bring your camper. The people at Love Valley are wonderful. They let our granddaughter set on their horses for pictures and even took her on a short ride! There was a general store where we ate a delicious breakfast. We will definitely be back!

This is the account of a first time visitor with family members and children traveling to Love Valley. A town once filled with rich history, passion, uniqueness, nostalgia and fun has been run down and lost. If the founder were alive today to see what his dream has become it would be a trajectory. Trash on the streets, condemned buildings, trash cans turned over, and only a handful of places still in business but nothing even resembling open. Truly a shame to see. However is at the helm of the town needs to understand that people travel far to see what this town once was, and are grossly disappointed to see what it is.

I gave this place a 5 as I was interested in taking pictures in an old western town. We we here on a Monday, nothing was open which we knew ahead of time. No disappointment there. We met Allison and Jim who both spent time talking to us about their town, it's history, and plans for the future. It's sort of run down, but so would any old western town. We were given a tour of Miss Kitty's. Thanks to Allison for that! We walked the one block long town and took pictures as planned. You may see a lot of negative reviews, but give it a try. It's not to far off the beaten path. You may be surprised at what you see and who you meet!

We visited in December on a colder, very wet day. There were no horses to see but this small town is certainly walkable. It have a few older buildings (old west look). The bar and restaurant was open. We went in the the restaurant and talked to the employee. Very friendly. She said we just missed the horses and people as they were there the night before. It is very, very small. I'd like to go back to see the horses but really, it did not seem to be anything there. A very small, older hotel, saloon (we didn't go in since we had kids with us).
