TPC Deere Run is a Championship 18 hole golf course and host to the PGA TOUR's John Deere Classic. The course is nextled atop a bluff overlooking the Rock river and the property is steeped in history, from Indian tribes, coal mine operations, and Arabian horse breeding. The golf course is playable for level of expertise based on the 5 sets of tees. The golf course is spectacular and the service is exceptional.

Great venue to watch the John Deere Classic. Per the website for the Classic, easy to find parking (cost is $5 this time, 8/2016), get parked and bused to the venue. Once on site, very organized layout to exchange my pre-purchased ticket for a grounds pass. Staff is very friendly and helpful with questions. Naturally the course is wonderful if... More

One of the best courses I have ever played!! Unbelievable views on the course. Home of the John Deere Classic, what you see on the television telecasts is what you really get. Immaculate conditions, lush fairways, thick rough, beautiful views, large and fast greens. What more would you want!! Well you also get service with smiling faces, from the bag... More

The Midwest has some excellent golf courses, but most pale to the challenge and enjoyment of Deere Run. A truly professional course, we'll run and always in great shape. I love playing shortly before or shortly after the John Deere Classic, the greens and fairways are fast fast. I love fast greens and the greens here are fast all the... More

Wonderful experience getting to play TPC Deere Run site of the PGA Tour's John Deere Classic. Service was outstanding from the bag drop, pro shop and the starter. Course was in immaculate shape and we loved learning about the history of the area at each tee box. Course is challenging but fair and we would love to play it again.... More

Picturesque holes on a stunning property with service minded staff. The clubhouse is beautiful and the pro shop has some great keepsakes for purchase.

This course is THE BEST! We had a fantastic time, played great golf on the HJGT Event in April 2016. The staff in the clubhouse restaurant were great. Food was really really good. Overall a very memorable experience but I will say that the staff in the pro shop (one person all three days, the same person) were very very... More

Just recently played this course. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The course is in good shape for early in the season. The course is very fair with ample room off the tee to hit your drive. A good value early in the year.

This review is for The Deere Run Grille, the restaurant at the golf course. The restaurant is part of the clubhouse so golfers will love all the memorabilia on the walls from the John Deere tournament. For anyone else, the good food may surprise you. There were five of us out for a business lunch. I was not expecting much... More

This was a great find. The course was spectacular. The clubhouse staff were also great. Most importantly it is priced so it is affordable for your average, middle-class player.

I was driving through on my way to and from a business trip. Instead of flying, I drove with the express purpose of playing TPC Deere Run. I thought it was going to be a great track from watching the course on TV every year, but I didn't think it was going to be as good as it was. I... More

Golfingfoodie, Thank you very much. Watching the John Deere Classic on TV and experiencing the golf course in person can be quite different! Alex Stuedeman, Director of Golf Course Maintenance Operations, does a fantastic job with our golf course. He will be thrilled to know you enjoyed it. Thank you again and hope business brings you back out here soon! More
