A loverly autumn walk was had in a family friendly environment with adequate pushchair facilities and good parking areas and it’s nice to take an enjoyable stroll without having to be expected to pay for the privilege , well worth a visit .

the mile long lake, set in park land, very easy walking, bikes, flat wide paths, you can walk all the way round the waters edge, some wild life to watch, no shelter, toilets or café that we could see,

We went to the lake for an organised triathlon day which included activities and races for the kids. Really well organised and a beautiful location. I imagine it very tranquil on a non event day.

We've been going there for years. There are lots of areas to explore and the rowing lake is lovely to walk around. Can be difficult to get access some weekends as there are a lot of events held there throughout the year.

I really enjoy walking, but cannot cope with hills, so this is a really good walk, you have to be careful to avoid cycles, runner, eyc
