(1) Attending an Il Divo concert there this week, I was VERY disappointed the facility allowed use of cameras. Hundreds throughout the audience had their cell phones lit up constantly filming videos. It was distracting and RUDE. (2) don't sit in section 201-202, or 209-210. You can see barely 25% of the stage from these seats. (3) The sound is MUCH BETTER on main floor than balcony level, where I was sitting. I listened to the last 3-4 songs on the main floor and couldn't believe the difference in the sound.

I love the atmosphere of the Rosemont Theatre for KPOP Concerts! The majority of seats give a good view. I also like that if my daughter and I cannot buy seats next to each other we're never too far apart so that I can always keep an eye on her.

The seats were comfortable. The sound system was superior. The foyer was clean and plush. The staff was as as friendly as possible. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 was parking. There was a time when the theater was there pretty much by itself. Then they built an entire shopping and entertainment district around it. It may have escaped the planners that such a venue would attract lots of cars. There is not nearly enough parking for the theater. Many shoppers use the theater lot rather than the adjoining parking garage, meaning even less spots for the theater. It's a mess. I strongly recommend that anyone attending a show get there at least an hour beforehand. Make a day of it if necessary and shop and dine as there are some fine eateries in the area. But don't get there at show time and expect to be in your seat on time.

I also have a few issues that did not affect my rating. Can young people put down their damn phones for just the few hours of the show? First, there are big signs in the theater saying "no pictures", something ignored by more than a few people around me. And when at a live show, why would someone want to sit there and stare down at a small screen? In a dark theater, do they realize how distracting this is to others? Then there was the large group of women behind me that yakked their way through the show. I finally informed them that I wanted to hear Frankie Valli, not them. Do modern theaters need manners enforcement?

As a venue, the theater is OK. For this production our center balcony seats provided a view of the entire stage, but average height people in front can obstruct your view. For this production the left and right sections were blocked off entirely. As others have said, parking is sort of a mess. They charge $20 cash only, and unless you're lucky, you'll probably have a good hike to the theater entrance. We heard complaints about the service during intermission, both the service and long lines, and the high prices. We escaped early because we were parked fairly near the entrance, but others who had to hike to their cars were most likely stuck in a massive jam trying to leave. Horrible traffic control.
Regarding the ShenYun production - save your money. The show is nothing like what is portrayed in the colorful, exciting commercials. It was repetitive, with what seemed like the same/similar dances done in different costumes. Not much of the leaps and tumbling and flowing costumes you expect. This show is also a long political commercial for the Falun Gong or Falun Dafa religious organization. There are banners promoting that group during the performances, and several of the "dance stories" and the solo performances involved references to their beliefs. Not cool, because they aren't out front with any of this. I was not the only person underwhelmed; several people left at intermission. Applause was lukewarm and polite, and afterward people just got up quietly and left...... Didn't see many happy, smiling faces. You've been warned.

Spent big bucks for up close seats. I landed the 3rd row , row C. I expected a great view. But our view was 50 percent blocked by this 4 foot high wooden wall that separates the pit area and the regular seats. All we could see was the performers waste and up. It was a dance show and we came to see the dancers feet and shoes in action too. Don't buy tickets in row C OR D , you will be sorry. ROSEMONT, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL.

First once in the theatre and seated, The Riverdance show and production was 4 Star!

To bad we missed the first 10 minutes of this show since parking was a train wreck. Are show started at 2pm we got in line for parking in the area at 105. Walked into show at 215 this is pathetic. If you have tickets get there at least 2 hours early. This needs to be fixed!!!!

As a frequent visitor to theatres and concerts, I was quite appalled at the difficulties in getting to the Rosemont Theatre. They have done little to help with traffic patterns and moving traffic in a quick and efficient manner. The traffic stops on the highway, and we sat for over 90 minutes attempting to get into the parking lot. After spending a small fortune on tickets, we missed a big part if the show along with many others. On top of that, it costs $25 to park the car. If you must go to this theatre, plan on arriving a minimum if 2-3 hours early. We planned an extra hour for arrival and still missed the show. In talking to police officers our experience was a common occurrence.

Spent an hour on the last mile of this trip due to traffic just not moving. Sorry, valet parking full. Loved this venue in the past but traffic and parking have become a nightmare. Tickets went unused and just headed back home. Won't be going back.

I have been to the Rosemont Theatre for concerts, plays and most recently, my own graduation ceremony! It's a beautiful facility, and I have yet to find a really bad seat. Although, as with any theatre, seats towards the middle of the house are better. The parking can be very tight, and expensive. While there are options around the theatre, all of them can cost money unless you are in the know. For example - a friend has parked in the garage for the discount mall for free. It's relatively close by, however depending on when your event is, there may not be any spots. Also, when you leave you will get wrapped up in the same traffic leaving the theatre. Here is what I like to do - across the street is MB Financial Park that has a number of very good restaurants. Usually, when I go the Rosemont, dinner or at least a drink or two is had before or after our visit, so I park in the MB Financial Park garage, have your parking validated by the restaurant you visit so it's free (don't forget or you have to pay!), and then walk across the street to the theatre. When you leave, avoid all the traffic from the theatre by turning right out of the garage onto Balmoral.

This was a horrible experience from the very beginning. Saw a show that wasn’t even sold out and the parking lot was a disaster. No one directing traffic and almost impossible to find a parking spot. We finally got inside and the concession lines were 30 minutes long. They were out of wine and the credit card machine was out of service. Rosemont should be embarrassed. For what they charge at this place they could afford to provide better service. This is the last time they get our entertainment dollars. It’s a shame too, because it’s a nice looking theatre
