Peaceful and picturesque

Great place to take a walk or have a picnic with family and friends. I have done both and enjoyed each visit. Love looking at all the boats docked there.

The marina is breathtaking views for the mississippi river throughout the whole marina, there are plenty of boats at the dock. If you are there during December and November you will see lots of Eagles.

Great place to go to overlook the Mississippi River and watch sunset, the park itself has always been neglected, does have playground for kids it has been replaced but its not kept up swings are broken most of the time, has a decent walk path that connects and follows river north

Although the downtown docks are just transient and you can't load, unload or refuel, here's hoping that all the good parts of sunset get moved to Schwiebert Park and that the difficult boat access and poor dredging get left behind forever. Until then, however, this remains your best bet for pool 16 river access for any sizable watercraft. It's best... More

Good place to launch a boat and a very nice lookout tower to view the MIssissippi River. But, it just seemed a under kept to me.
