From kakdwip you have take a ferry to reach kuchuberia. ferry depends on tide. you get plenty of vehicles from ferry point at kuchuberia to travel the 30km to sagardwip. the roads are good. people are friendly. you have plenty of places you can stay at if you don't go in paush mas, i.e. 15th december to 15th january. i would highly recommend calcutta vastra vyavsayi samiti's place. it is very comfortable. no charge, only donation as per your wish. excellent veg food very reasonably priced.
