very clean beach of white sand--very safe to take holy dip. no disturbance at all by any one. few minutes walking distance from kapil muni temple. dense forest of green casurina tree.

This beach has a lot of sacred significance in hindu religion. A holy dip in the waters of this beach is said to provide moksha to ur soul. Must visit atleast once in a lifetime.

The island is almost flat and beach is rather silent being a confluence of river Ganges/Hooghly embracing from all sides except the southern end exposed to sea.

This is very Beautiful and Peaceful place. you can visit with family or couple. There are no any risk. Several hotels are near to beach.

Except for hordes of stray dogs following you, it is a very nice beach. People come here to do puja only. The pandits are non demanding and good and do the puja well.

From kakdwip you have take a ferry to reach kuchuberia. ferry depends on tide. you get plenty of vehicles from ferry point at kuchuberia to travel the 30km to sagardwip. the roads are good. people are friendly. you have... More
