The local 4-H club has bar coded the trees, fishing areas, shrubs, and etc. All you need is your phone with a barcode reader and you have the information in your phone then. Wonderful hiking trails, horseback tails, fishing and hunting in this park!

Strip mines were big in Southern Illinois. These strip hills have trails winding around the lakes that have been stocked with panfish. A quiet walk with little chance of crowds. The fishing is pretty good. Camping is pretty limited.

Surrounded by deer, turkey, racoons, geese and ducks. This peaceful look of recaptured land from the coal mines of long ago is great for the hunting type person.
