As a tradition in Peoria, we venture here every couple of years to see the improvements and of course the animals. For a small town, this is a decent visitor spot.

Peoria Zoo not large like Chicago or St Louis where you can spend entire day and still not see everything. It IS a wonderful place to spend a few hours in the newer updated environment. Enjoyed the theme and layout of zoo

We have a really nice zoo in Peoria. Large variety of animals and they have a nice concession area and free parking.

. If you are wanting to know when the Free Admission day is this year, I do not think they are having one.
