This is one of the many recreational areas maintained by Cook County. It has bike and walking trails, picnic areas, etc. It does gave a reputation of attracting groups that may include gang members, so avoiding it after dark is advised.

Great place to hike, bike or cross country ski. Beautiful trails with rolling terrain and a few large hills.

There is a lot going on here with the bike/walking path, animal watching, picnics, etc. It's nice that they have the forest preserves where we can enjoy a little of nature. Surprisingly not very crowded unless they are having a big event. Not the best...More

This is one of my favorite parks. It has it all: magnificent views, relaxing atmosphere. It you like biking, you can take either small loop ( 2.5 easy ride) or big loop ( 7.5 mile ride with challenging elevation).

Yes. Although it is tough to find. It isn't really a maintained connector. It is exactly across from Deer Valley Dr.
