This is a nice place to visit especially in the fall to view the nice views of the river with all the leaves changing color. There are a few steps to climb up to the top of castle rock itself so it can be difficult...More

Fairly easy but nice hike up to the top of the rocks with an amazing view. It is so neat up at the top! We went on a kind of chilly, misty day -- and it was still very cool. It's worth the stop!

My boyfriend and I went in January after a fresh snowfall and the view was so beautiful. The stairs were a little icy so we had to be extra cautious but was worth the hike to see that view. We will be going back for...More

Well kept park with a good visitors center, large resort, and many miles of trails. We were lucky to see a pair of bald eagles fly onto a tree on a small island in the river as we were at the top of a trail.

The feature that is worth mentioning about this park is the easy to navigate, short trails. The two we walked were well marked and were in a loop. So, you came out right where you went in. I like this bc you knew exactly what...More

The park was bigger than we had imagined and we got lost on the Oregon Trail. Very scenic area! Glad we went,

I should have added - there is a great view of the river from the parking lot, which is just a few yards away from the river. There is also a great view of the river from a parking lot less than 1/2 mile north (still park... More
