Mekong Ecolodge located on the island of Tan Phong Cai Lay District, Tien Giang Province. Opposite the Cai Be floating market. Built on a beautiful island surrounded by orchards laden with fruit year round, urging people post, gentle and hospitable.

I did a unique private tour with them. This guide Nhy was very very good providing a unique experience at a correct price. She did not show the usual tourist stuff but made it a wonderful unique experience

Stop looking around for where you are going to book your tour and book here. The lodge was absolutely beautiful and my husband and I felt like royalty when we were there since the lodge was relatively empty but still had more people waiting on us than guests! Our guide, Khua (spelling?) spoke excellent English and took us to places where my husband and I were the only tourists in sight. It was great to get such a good, local, impression of the Mekong area. Some parts of the tour were even a little bit culturally shocking, which I didn't even know was possible for me since I have traveled so much, but that was all part of the experience. Word of caution for animal lovers and vegetarians, maybe you should stay on the boat when they take you to the food market, the meat is VERY fresh if you get what I mean.
I loved this part of my trip and wish I would have stay another night at the lodge.

Thank you Ms Hue for a great day.
We had a wonderful and unique experience at Meking Ecolodge for the day. We arrived by boat in the morning and met at the landing. It was a short walk to the lodge where we were welcomed with a cool drink and then began our tour to visit the local people in the village. The visit included making pandan cakes, experienced Vietnamese folk singing, shown how to make baskets and making rice paper. Then came back for a superb Vietnamese lunch.
If you would like a unique tour and visit the village people, this is the place to come to.
We didn't stay overnight but were shown the unique Eco huts. Each had an ensuite where the bathroom was in open air but totally private. There were a choice of rooms with or without air conditioning.
Highly recommend it if you want to get away from the tourist crowds.

We biked, did cooking class, visit by small boat the delta, we drove to cai be to visit the Muslim village & floating market, we saw weaving and the production of rice candies 😋. A day well spend. Thank you Thong.

Food here is good ! Awesome service and friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend with a boat tour . Borrow a bike and check out all the tasty fruits if it's season. Rambutan seems like their speciality.

Had a 2 night stay here & loved it. Very different to other places we've been, not touristy & had some fabulous experiences that we would not have been able to organise on our own. Felt like the activities & day trips were authentic experiences - met real locals going about their normal way of life. Plus very friendly staff, great food & we were very well looked after.

It is amazing to seat on the ship and see view. Even you can buy and eat something when you seat. It has big market on river with variety of food, fruit.
