    So long........frank Lloyd Wright

    I fell in love with wright after discovering the Paul Simon song. I wondered who could inspire such beauty ..... and then I learned! I love his simplicity, thoughtfulness and attention to every side of every detail. This is a terrific tour. A must see!

    So much to see So little time

    The several houses open on this weekend are usually well worth the wait. Some houses are not as interesting on the inside as the outside would make you believe. This is often the result of lack-luster decoration.

    Really enjoyed the FLW walking tour

    We really enjoyed the FLW walking tour. You could see the evolution of his design and it was surprising how prolific he was.

    Self Guided Tour

    Also enjoyed the self guided audio tour of the FLW homes in Oak Park. Well done! It was a beautiful summer day and the houses were all like jewels tucked into the neighborhood.

    Short, insightful tour. Well worth the time.

    The self-guided tour was a great way to learn about 10 houses he designed. Gorgeous neighborhood. Amazing homes. We did this in about 45 minutes just prior to a guided tour of his home and studio.

    Wright Plus Housewalk

    This was the reason for our visit to Oak Park. The Ultimate Wright Plus Weekend is a great experience. Buy a Fast Pass and go to the head of every line.

    Great for an afternoon walk

    This isn't a super long tour, but you get a good glimpse of some awesome architecture and some interesting info on the homes and families. You buy tickets and get your listening device at the Frank Lloyd Wright Studio, so I recommend ending your tour...More
