We booked this trip at the last minute because of uncertainty in the weather and since the forecast was good we were lucky they took us as they were very booked. We were more than 20 to go on this trip on this day (5 September). Had good guides (Mia, Ben and Andy (?)) who explained much about the area,... More

We took the kayak/glacier hike tour on Styggevatnet with Mia and Lianne. The guides were knowledgable, friendly, and made sure everyone was safe and had a great time. The lake and glacier were gorgeous. A one of a kind experience!

We booked the half-day kayaking & glacier hike on Nigardsbrevatnet / Nigardsbreen with Icetroll. As advertised, the tour starts at Breheimsenter, starts with a 30-minute kayak journey across Nigardsbrevatnet, has a 3-hour glacier walk and ends back at Breheinsenter after another 30-min kayak ride. While we were expecting it to be good, the trip greatly exceeded our expectations and was... More

The glacier hiking was the highlight of our Norway trip. Getting to experience walking on a glacier was incredible. The Ice Troll staff was knowledgable and very friendly. The equipment (harness and crampons) were in good condition and easy for first-timers to use. The hike itself was not strenuous, but gorgeous all the same. When traveling in Norway, make time... We went on the kayak and glacier hike trip organised by ice trolls. Our guides Mia and Kira explained everything perfectly and could tell us a lot about the glacier. The kayak trip was heavy due to the weather but the glacier walk was a nice reward!

We went on the kayaking and glacier hiking tour with wonderful guides Mia and Lianne. The colours of the lake and glacier were just amazing. The kayaking took about an hour and a half, and got a bit challenging on our way back when we had heavy rain showers.. Make sure you wear warm and water proof clothes;) The glacier... More

This was a great experience! Really pleasant but very professional people. We booked the rafting (class 3 tour) after a glacier walk (11.30 am) at Nigardsbreen, a hint from them as we couldn't join them anymore for the glacier tour... After the very clear explanatian & receiving all the necessary gear, we were off. First a more quiet descent to... More

We originally wanted to do the Styggevatnet tour but due to the lack of thawing it wasn't possible, however we were suggested Tuns as an alternative and it didn't disappoint! I will say firstly that it's a fairly physical tour, there's a long kayak and a hike before you get to the glacier but if you're not an exercise-a-phobe it's... More

Traveled all over Scandinavia with my 12 year old son. This was our favorite day. Ice Trolls staff is super fantastic both before and after hike. They reached out to me and suggested doing the slightly harder hike. I was a bit anxious since I am not in tremendous shape but they were right that I could do it. A... More
