Nice museum

Nice museum but needs more parking. We didn't like having to walk from outside the parking lot in the cold with young kids. Members should have prefered parking.

There are a lot of activities for kids ages 3 to 9 , as those are the ages of my kids. There's an area to eat snacks in the basement. Definitely a great experience with the kids. The best time to go would not be the weekend as it can at times be overwhelming. But overall definitely worth a visit... More

We've been to this museum twice now with our 2.5 year old. We love how much there is for him to play with and how creative many of the play areas are. From magnatiles to shadow fun to lighted peg creations there is something for everyone. I thought the workshop area is really neat for older kids to make wooden... More

I took my three grandchildren to this place and they throughly enjoyed it (so did grandma/grandpa). Hands on fun, demonstrations which involved the kids. They did not want to leave. Great day of fun and memories.

Dupage Children's Museum is a terrific place to bring children, especially under 10 years old. We like it so much we gifted our grandchildren with a year's membership. So many creative ways to play and learn there. Excellent activities!

My grandchildren love this museum. They literally can spend all day happily engrossed in the multitude of activities. They love that they can enclose themselves in a bubble. There are real tools and wood to build a little project in a safe environment (eye-protection goggles, etc). The areas involve, art, creativity, water, electricity, aerodynamics, physics, geometry, and so much more.... More

there are quite a number of things for kids to play, e.g. wind, electric, woodwork, blocks, etc. I think similar to other children museum, but I like most is dark room, in which you can draw anything with the light-pen and you can take photo of your shadow, even adults enjoy this part. by the way, there are 2 rooms... I remember their prior location in Wheaton; this is larger and with more exhibits. Always a fun time with the kiddos!

We love to take our grandchildren here. They are 5 and 3 years old and have so much fun. They generally want to go to the arts and crafts area first and make something. There are so many things here that are both fun and learning oriented. Good lunch room, too.

We recently visited with the young grandchildren and we all enjoyed it. For the whole group of us, it felt expensive at $12 a piece. The 6 and 4 yr old had a blast. The 2 year old enjoyed some of the fun -- especially climbing on things, too. Lots of interactive events for all of us -- great photo-ops!... More
