Great place to visit and explore with the kiddos

I remember their prior location in Wheaton; this is larger and with more exhibits. Always a fun time with the kiddos!

there are quite a number of things for kids to play, e.g. wind, electric, woodwork, blocks, etc. I think similar to other children museum, but I like most is dark room, in which you can draw anything with the light-pen and you can take photo of your shadow, even adults enjoy this part. by the way, there are 2 rooms... We love to take our grandchildren here. They are 5 and 3 years old and have so much fun. They generally want to go to the arts and crafts area first and make something. There are so many things here that are both fun and learning oriented. Good lunch room, too.

We recently visited with the young grandchildren and we all enjoyed it. For the whole group of us, it felt expensive at $12 a piece. The 6 and 4 yr old had a blast. The 2 year old enjoyed some of the fun -- especially climbing on things, too. Lots of interactive events for all of us -- great photo-ops!... More

Have visited this museum several times with both my granddaughters . It is amazing interactive and so hands-on everyone has a great time . I would highly recommend it to anyone with young children but give yourself at least 2+ hours to do it justice

We visited the museum with some friends & their daughter. The babies were 10 & 15 months. We spent most our time in the "young explorers" areas in each exhibit neighborhood as the babies were both under two. They both had a blast, especially with he water, bubbles, & playing with other little kids. We will definitely go back often... More

We took the kids to the Dupage Children's Museum on a Summer Friday. It's a small but fun den of activity, particularly for kids under 7. The museum is two stories with many different activities. A number of them are more science-fair types which may or may not be fun for all kids. The highlights are: - The wood workshop... More

We have been to several Children's Museums. This one was not too large and not too small it was well-balanced and kept our kids well entertained for about two and a half or 3 hours. Unfortunately it closes at 5 p.m. or we would have stayed longer. There is a section that involves a lot of water so keep that... More
