Beautiful and safe walk thorough a landscape filled with unique art, nature, and calm. Quiet. Check out the bell tower its amazing. Coffee shop, restrooms, beautiful fountain. Sweet bridges. A must see. In the summer an outdoor natural quarry utilized for swimming is here. Enjoy

Nice relatively short walk down both sides of the river with good views of Naperville and only a short distance to the town centre.

Yes, it is quite under-rated and it is FREE! There are always other people "around" and it is a very safe environment! It is geared for families, lovers, even SINGLE people!

We have been here many times and have taken out of town visitors here as well. No matter which season it is the Riverwalk provides a tranquil experience. Skateboards and such are prohibited and, therefore, not a nuisance. The river attracts fish and fowl. The landscaping is excellent and the trail is dotted with markers, statues and memorials. A "don't... More

One of my favorite paths to walk. With ample nearby parking, covered bridges, flowing waters, and a plethora of places to stop for a snack, it's the ideal location for a stroll.

I found this quite by chance. Naperville is a very busy town. so the river walk is a good place to take a walk, and feel like you are getting back to a slower pace.

The Riverwalk is a wonderful way to get some exercise as well as see some of the sights in Naperville. The tribute to 911 victims is especially well done. Stop at the visitors center and pick up a map for more information about the different stops along the walk.

Born and raised in Naperville - Back in the 60's and 70's this river was a dumping ground. The city has always been forward thinking and created this beautiful park. The downtown portion is heavily traveled and great for people watching. Both sides of the river are developed. Great for strolls, dog walking, date night and exercise. Adventure out to... More

We go to the Riverwalk in nice weather, but it would be nice anyway if you dressed properly. We like to go there and it has a lot to see, there are restaurants in the area. Just a nice place to visit. There is no charge, just an outdoor thing. There is parking in a large parking garage that is... More

The river walk is a great place to take a stroll with your special someone, or your family. It runs right through the middle of downtown where there are so many great places to eat and shop. Beautiful photo ops too!
