Love the area it goes from downtown atmosphere to a walk along the river. Lots of people out but, you still have your own privacy.

The Riverwalk is the ideal way to enjoy downtown Naperville away from cars and parking lots. The vision that resulted in this beautiful, peaceful walk was bold and brave. The Visitor Center along the walk near the boat basin has interesting displays of how the area was developed. You can even see the person who plays the huge carillon practice... More

A casual walk along the west branch of DuPage River is sure to clear your head. Apart from the Centennial Beach, you have the opportunity to picnic or paddle boat on the small lake.

This is a must see or rather do when your in Naperville, put on some good walking shoes and enjoy the wildlife or people watch, water fountains, bridges and sculptures, then stop in downtown and enjoy some of the fabulous restaurants.

Took all 12 people down to the Naperville Riverwalk and also walked to the 9 11 Memorial. Everyone enjoyed all the flowers, fountains, the Memorial, so much. A must see when one visits Naperville!!!

Fantastic walk along the river in lovely downtown Naperville. We only went in one direction and were able to see the Bell Tower and Centennial beach and park, which was plenty. It is very calm and peaceful and there is plenty of room on the walking path. At several locations there are pedestrian bridges so you can cross the other... More

Our party of five consisted of one senior citizen, two adults and two children ages 10 & 12. We enjoyed watching the ducks, duckling and geese. We looked for fish and just enjoyed the sound of the water. The walking area is a well maintained concrete path with stairs between the upper and lower walkway in areas. There are bridges... More

I live about an hour away and read about this riverwalk. I was pleasantly surprised. It is beautiful place to walk through nature, the covered bridges are a nice touch. It also has man made beach area, paddle boats and canoeing. If that isnt enough walking you can stroll around the town and visit the shops. Loved it, great way... More

I lived in Naperville for 3 years and I miss it everyday because of places like this beautiful river walk. Such a great mixture of nature and the town itself. There are parts of the river walk that make you forget you are in such a lively town like Naperville. We try to go as many weekends as we can.... More
