We loved walking along the water! The river walk is done very well, there is nothing like a downtown with a river running through it!

We stroll here frequently. It is a very nice space to take a walk before or after eating at the nearby restaurants in downtown Naperville.

The river flows slowly by the walk. Its pleasant with an abundance of flowers. You can take a look at the restaurants that line the riverwalk. We took a stroll after dinner. They keep the river looking sharp. We noticed a workman the next morning...More

The sidewalk on the riverbank was quiet, even with a range of people using it. A playground area had a group of kids and parents. One area has some beautiful tiles representing parts of Naperville's history, donated by various families.

I first moved to Naperville in 1973 and the Riverwalk did not exist. We used to swim in a quarry following a dirt path to get there. Now the Riverwalk reminds us of San Antonio. A parklike setting with wonderful restaurants, statues and lots of...More

I was able to get up and get a few miles on the Riverwalk path. It's paved, and people are very considerate for runners and walkers.

We went on a romantic walk after dinner downtown. There were several local musicians playing in different locations. There were plenty of people walking, but it didn’t feel crowded. It is also great with little kids to see the ducks and geese along the river.

We walk the river walk in Naperville as both a form of exercise and entertainment. We have enjoyed the new shops, wine tasting and restaurants. This is a great family or solo experience. Recommend it to both visitors and residents.

Naperville has one of the best Riverwalks in Illinois. There is so much to do and see, get your exercise on or meet up with friends, hang with your family or enjoy your date night. The location is smackdab in the middle of all the...More
