One of the best spots in Naperville. Good for paddle boats,a nice walk, watching people and ducks and a great view from the sled hill or Carillon. Last Fling concerts in fall, ice hockey in the winter, swimming in the summer at Centennial beach quarry. Close to downtown restaurants. Now connects to North Central College with s peaceful nature walk.

The River Walk is a well-maintained and beautiful walkway along the DuPage River in Naperville. It's a very popular trail, and there are many restaurants and downtown attractions within walking distance.

Although it wasn't part of the itinerary, it was a fun little deviation. It was a simple way to get in some more exploring. The walk was nice. It was great to get out to explore Chicago on one of its classic attractions. It was free, and a great way to see the city. The only drawback was that it... More

This is a good place to take a walk and unwind. I recommend walking the top area, then going to the path along the river and under the covered bridge.

Their is so much to do at the Naperville Riverwalk you can spend the whole day! Regardless of age you will find plenty of shopping, places to eat (all budgets) or just stroll down the path of the river. No matter what time of year it is pretty. Fall is my favorite. The Naper Settlement is walking distance as well.... More

Took my GF here for first time since she is from Chicago and wanted to know what's the hype about "river walk " Naperville, and showing her in person was the best answer. This city, this area- down town Naperville speaks for it's self. There is not much I can say about it because everyone who goes here - knows... More

If you like crowds and dodging dog leashes and the land mines the dog owners neglect to pick up this is the place for you. Extremely busy on weekends, lots of traffic.

Paved and pleasant short stroll. Good for a stretch of the legs but not a destination in itself. If you go do so in good weather and hope there is a band performance along the way.
