Nice children’s farm, although plenty of adults can be found petting the animals here too. It was quite busy with people from all walks of life.
You can feed the goats a bottle of milk (currently only when you buy a consumption in the restaurant due to COVID-19), there’s a pancake restaurant, a place where you can rent canoes and of course all sorts of farm animals which you can interact with. And finally, you can buy a vast array of biological products.
It can get very busy (even in COVID-19 times), but certainly is a great place to spend some time!

Lots of animals, super nice for kids, for a euro they can give the lambs a lil bottle of milk. For a small amount also you can buy food for other animals. There is a shop with their bio producs for ex cheeze, goat milk and al kinds of farm producs., Nice gifts also. There is a restaurant you can eat, drink there but also just have a drink in or outside or just buy icecream. The goats and the premises are really well maintaned, everthing is clean and you feel safe to go ahead and pet and let your kids pet the animals. Also big pigs, birds and some playstuff for kids, also water nearby with little boats. When we where there they also did litle pony rides for kids. Its across the recreational little beach at the lake. Good to combine these sights on a nice day. Nice walking area across the street also. Free parking.

The farm can be visited through the whole year, but early spring is the best time to go. At that time baby goats are born and you can feed them from a special bottle. This is probably the biggest attraction there and great fun not only for kids. Apart from a lot of goats there are the other animals: horses, pigs, chickens, cows etc.
The farm is next to quite big channel and you can rent there boat of kayak. There is playground, restaurant with pancakes and some other food. In summer you can get ice-cream as well. Farm shop offers different kinds of cheese and other farm products – some of them are really worth trying and not too expensive.
Entrance to the farm and parking is free. For the bottles and chicken food you’ll pay ca. 0.80 euro. Kids can also ride a pony or horse – ca. 1 euro per short ride.

We went with our 6 and 3 year old and they had a blast! Lots of animals to see and things to do. There is a great playground for additional entertainment. A small restaurant with a typical Dutch lunch menu and snack. (Delicious apple pie!) Beautiful nature around the farm. Highly recommended!

We spent there half of the day. Our kis (3 and 4.years old) and we liked it very much! There are a lot of things to do, its a free entrance and you pay only for services (milk for goats, boat hiring, pony riding ant etc.). There is a nice restaurant there to have a brunch. Highly recommended!

On Wednesday 2/9/20 we went with 6 people to the Geertje Boerderij for walking in the natural environment of the area! we succeed quite well! The surroundings around a lake at the "anoord Zoetermeet" were very beautiful, accompanied by fantastic weather! BF

Visited the petting farm this week. It’s great I particularly like that you only pay €1 for most things you want to do. There are hanky goats, marshmallow toasting, short pint ride etc
Lots of animals.
The shop is also good.
We hired a boat for half an hour as well.
I do think they need more sink’s for hand washing for children.

It’s located between Leiden and Zoetermeer, perfect place to see, feed, pet farm animals. There is a hay barn, pony ride, pancakes, mars mellow at the fire station, goats, cows, pigs, horses, chickens, boat rental, restaurant, cheese shop, free parking, many play areas. Our kids are 3,5 years old and we can easily keep them curious running around in the various areas of the barn. The main thing I love about this place that it still has a real barn feeling, it’s not a park but really a barn with many facilities!

It was a great experience and a complement to our pleasure in the Netherlands. My children enjoyed goat feeding, horseback riding and watching cows and birds. I would like to thank the hosts who were at the top of tact and kindness..💕👌🏻

Hi dear Discover99 do you know if there is public transportation that can takes us from amsterdam to the farm? we are from new york and doesn't have a driver license but it looks like it would be so much fun for my kid to spend a day in the farm.
Thank you for your kind attention and advise :)
