The visitors' area of the John Deere Headquarters is a terrific place. First, it is a beautiful Eero Saarinen building in a completely unlikely place. Beautifully sited in the woods and valued by the Deere Co, the building speaks to the place and the industry....More

This is one of our first stops when we arrive into town from Tennessee. The tractors are great to climb inside and explore. The staff is friendly and the building is extremely clean. It's been neat to watch the museum change over the years.More

I agree that perhaps the Peace Corp, or a farmers co-operative would be the way to go. You would have to contact John Deere directly to see if they have some type of World Wide charity. Other than that, I wouldnt know.

No, reservations are not required. It is a self guiding tour, but the staff will be more than happy to share with you their detailed knowledge of the subjects you are interested in.
