Everyone coming to the Quad Cities or living here should take a trip on the Channel Cat. Unfortunately, it only runs in the warmer months, I believe from Memorial Day to Labor Day, so check schedules before you go. The Quad Cities looks quite different...More

The Channel Cat is a great way to explore the Quad-Cities. The established schedule and ports of call allow visitors the ability to sample multiple points of interest close to the Mississippi River. You can stop at one port, shop and eat, then reboard and...More

The Cat is a really great trip on the Mississippi River. You can get off and on at your pleasure in 3 or 4 different stops. Each stop, in different towns, have interesting and exciting activities. And very reasonable.

We enjoyed an hour on the Mississippi on the Channel Cat where we made four stops where one could get off. Did see two eagles with one sitting on her nest which they pointed out.

Took the water taxi instead of driving, and thoroughly enjoyed the ride! Cheap fun way to go to several locations. Cool views from on the river as opposed to crossing it on the bridge. Nice breeze, would recommend this company to anyone visiting.
