Really enjoy visiting the JD Pavilion as there are machines on display along with interactive and static displays regarding food and crop production. Best part is that it is free.

If you think you will see only Tractors you will be wrong. Yes, there are a few tractors but there is also a huge combine, some bulldozers and a futuristic logging machine. Most of these you get to climb up into the driver's seat and play with all the controls. For those who like a little technology they have a... More

We stopped here as it was close to our hotel and it was free. We are in our later 50's and had fun just like the kids climbing up in the big combine and other John Deere equipment. It was very educational to see how they operate and interesting to learn about the operation of the on board computers and... More

I visited the John Deere Pavilion with several adults / teens a couple tweens. Everyone had a great time - climbing up into the cabs of the big machinery was a definite highlight (you can't climb into / onto everything; there are nice signs asking you to stay off some, but that's ok). I personally really enjoyed making a stop-action... More

This is the second time we've visited the Pavilion. Lots to look at for all John Deere fans, both young and old. Right next door is the store full of a fantastic range of John Deere products.

Nice stop in Moline. Not being farmers, the 7 and 10 year olds had never really seen farm equipment except in movies or pictures. This was eye opening to them regarding size, etc. The place also had a good supply of interactive exhibits for the kids (and adults) to play with. Worth going to. Also, it is free.

This Pavillion gives a comprehensive history of John Deere, his family, and his legacy. Most of the equipment post-dates John himself... for example, the company didn't start with tractors until after he passed.
