The RSPB is great for a relaxed trip out. There are play areas for the chilren and hides for bird watching, or you can enjoy a nice stroll around the many paths through the Sanctuary. To finish there is a cafe with a beautiful view and of course a shop! With fab gift ideas and lost of supplies for the... More

Visited here for a walk on a sunny day. Nice welcome at the entry point. Well stocked gift shop with unusual things to buy(Christmas goods in already). Walked all round the site and enjoyed the views, plants, the hides and of course the birds. I took my binoculars with me but would really like a monoscope one day. The cafe... More

We walkes round on a windy Friday. The car park waa busy bit there was nobody to bwe seen on the trails. Saw a few birds. Some hides were plush, ans glazed, which kept the wind out. They have a rare bread of path pooing pony, didn't see any im the flesh but plenty of evidence that they had been... More

Not the best RSPB site, but does have a lovely walk around the perimeter offering scrapes, estuary, little bit of woodland, Staff helpful (as is the RSPB norm), food in cafe pretty dire.

So glad these places exist because it's great to go for a walk and see nature in all its glory. Adults are charged £5 but we had a voucher on a leaflet so was £7.50 for 2 of us. Friendly helpful staff. Visited the hides once inside plenty of information boards. Good cafe for a drink and a snack hot... More

I have to admit that I'm not particularly a bird lover, but for all you twitchers out there, this bird reserve most likely delivers I was on a walk with friends and we paid £4 to gain entry onto the reserve. The walk was pleasant and we had lovely views of the Conwy estuary. Plenty of vantage points for birdwatchers.... More

Second time we have visited. Lovely staff in both entrance and cafe. Great play area for the children and a lovely walk around with plenty of wildlife to see, one warning the long way around the reserve can be a little hard for those with limited mobility and on windy days the side which has the estuary is very windy...
