Good to be calling in here again - this time lucky to see Great White Egret, which apparently has not been seen on the reserve before. Lovely walk in the sunshine and the wonderful Welsh Oggy for lunch - supplied I believe, by the local butcher in Conwy, Edwards. Worth going for the oggy and birds are a bonus !

This RSPB nature reserve is well worth a visit even if your time is limited. You can just call in and have a quick cup of tea and some delicious homemade cake whilst spotting much wildlife through the cafe window or you can explore further with interesting walks around the reserve.. There are also many children's activities .

A really lovely spot in North Wales. Beautiful views to enjoy before you have even set foot in the reserve area. The staff were wonderful. Friendly, helpful and informative. Cafe was nice, we just had drinks but the food looked good. The long trail took us about 40 / 50 minutes with an active 5 year old, but with older... More

Nature lovers will be assured of a good day out. This reserve is really well managed with well maintained pathways for the less able. With its situation on the Conwy estuary with both wetland and woodland habitats the variety of birds is amazing. With hides strategically situated for viewing and photographing and not forgetting the abundance of wild flowers, the... More

My wife won a 12 month family subscription so we visited the other day, what an eye opener it was. We walked from Llandudno Junction along side the estuary you can walk your dog as far as the perimeter gates which is idyllic in its self. When we entered the Nature Reserve you are directed through the shop which is... More

Me, my sister-in-law, and our four kids (6 - 8 ys) spent a lovely few hours here, ambling along the well thought out trails in glorious sunshine. The kids particularly enjoyed ticking off items on the nature trail. (The stuffed blackbird in the tree made us laugh!) Then, afterwards, it was back to the cafe for lunch. Later, while the... More

We joined recently and received a wonderful welcome pack and various items for the children. The rspb conwy was one of the wonderful sites we had the choice off. A family visit on a drizzly day in gave us a wonderful walk. The friendly staff provided my children with stickers and a nature seek and find sheet. Which kept them... More
