An unexpected Beautiful location in central Illinois. The view was striking with a relaxing feel. The scenery was right out of a magazine. It is a destination location to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life or to enjoy some outdoor entertainment on the weekends.

First time visit with friends Sept 3, 2023. Lovely grounds and ambiance. My complaint is having to pay to park. It’s not like you have an option for no pay parking. Most people attending are definitely going to spend more than $5.00 while they are in your beautiful place. I just think that is a gouge not necessary.

Thank you for taking time to send a review, and for your nice comments. I saw that you said there is a charge to park when visiting. There was a $5 charge on September 3, 2023 for the Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival which was going on. The $5 was not a parking fee. There were many things happening such as Grape stomping for guests, a band entertaining, a Lucy look a like contest, and food trucks that is why there was a $5 fee for people ages 13 adn over, kids 12 and under are free to come to our events. There is not a charge to park or get in when visiting during a normal business day, sorry the misunderstanding and I thank you for visiting, have a nice weekend, DIane Hahn

It is a Wonderful place to visit with friends to relax and have fun or to enjoy a nice date. Very relaxing with beautiful views, and wonderful wines. We always have an amazing time whether we come out to enjoy a band night during the summer time, or we just come to sit out to relax, spend quality time and enjoy the view!

If you are looking for a beautiful place to sip wine with your friends looking at the Illinois sunset, you got it.
But be prepared to pay per person for admission/parking, per person for a table, and even for the rental of each wine glass (yes, because they offer disposable plastic cups) and carry your items to your table.
These are things you need to know before making your decision.

Alongside the wine yards, there is an outdoor stage, in the evening people gather with their lawn chair, eat food they brought, buy the wine, and dance. Very beautiful environment. They also have day time activities, but I was there at dusk.

We always enjoy the warm atmosphere, friendly service and delicious wines at the Vineyard. Add an amazing dinner by The Catering Company, and lots of laughs provided by UPstage Productions in their interactive murder mystery, and you have a fun-filled, entertaining evening with friends!

This place is super cool. On nights when they have a band there's usually a $5 per person cover charge that you pay as you drive up in your car. You park out in a field like you're going to a rural auction and walk in. They've had people checking bags before for the sake of security, but not always.

You can reserve a table in advance up at the main building or you can bring lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, folding tables, and whatever else you want to drag along so you can picnic on the grass. They offer food and drink for sale at reasonable prices - I had a Butch's pizza last time - and you can bring in supporting food like cheese or pretzels or fruit, and they're fine with it.

They have a pretty decent, unique wine selection, mostly for about $15 a bottle. They will also have "mystery" bottles in brown bags for sale for $7 or so if you want to take a risk. You can ask for real glass or just go with the plastic cups they hand out with the wine. Inside the shop, you get three free tastes of wine, selected from about 12 -15 of their most popular bottles. You can continue to taste for $1 per taste if you can't make up your mind after 3 tries.

They've got a pavilion over a stage where they bring in various bands, and several hundred people will gather on the lawn to hear them. The bands I've heard - Jamm Sammich and Bubble Gum Jack - both were local cover bands who do a high quality job. Dancing on the patio in front of the band is encouraged and a lot of people participate. The concert starts in the light and keeps going through twilight and after dark.

This place is no doubt fun for couples but going with a group would probably be ideal. That's what we've done a few times and we've never left disappointed.

This is the best winery we've visited in Illinois. They have live bands most weekends in the summer. And a great local wine. Lots of parking a great place for special event or wedding.

Very crowded, go early and bring your own chairs etc. Great music in summer. You can bring your own food, but not beverages. Fun place to hang out with group of friends. But it is outside so weather is a factor.

What an excellent way to spend a late summer evening. Informal, relaxing, inexpensive evening, sure to impress any date, young or older.
Well done.
Personnel at the winery are very personable and appear to be out to make sure you have a pleasant evening. Suggest you want to reserve a table for your picnic.
