Spectacular and Beautiful place to visit with amazing wines! Would definitely recommend!
Jul 2019
It is a Wonderful place to visit with friends to relax and have fun or to enjoy a nice date. Very relaxing with beautiful views, and wonderful wines. We always have an amazing time whether we come out to enjoy a band night during the summer time, or we just come to sit out to relax, spend quality time and enjoy the view!

Beautiful place
May 2019 • Couples
My husband and I took a motorcycle ride one Friday and ended up here. While we were 2 of 5 patrons there I think it has potential to be a happening place. There is a schedule for bands every weekend with multiple levels on the deck and a large lawn and pond to sit by. They do not serve food other than frozen pizzas, cheese and crackers but you are welcome to bring a picnic in and chairs if you want to sit on the lawn. There’s a cute gift shop and the gal running the wine tastings was very personable and knowledgeable. The wines were not too bad (for Illinois wines) and we would definitely go back for the atmosphere!!

Not dog friendly
May 2019 • Friends
I was told that it was against the law for them to allow dogs in their outside area. Many Central Illinois restaurants offer dog friendly seating outside. MORE and more restaurants, brewpubs and hotels are becoming dog friendly. It would be nice if Mackinaw Valley Winery would too.

Our group had a great time at the Murder Mystery Dinner!
Feb 2019 • Couples
We always enjoy the warm atmosphere, friendly service and delicious wines at the Vineyard. Add an amazing dinner by The Catering Company, and lots of laughs provided by UPstage Productions in their interactive murder mystery, and you have a fun-filled, entertaining evening with friends!

Relaxing Experience!
Jul 2018 • Couples
We went to sample local wines and found a new spot to hang out! The grounds are beautiful and give off a relaxing vibe. They have music and events throughout the year. And best of all, the wine is very tasty! We would highly recommend if you are looking for a fun, relaxing experience.

A Relaxing Afternoon Wine Tasting
Jul 2018 • Friends
The vineyard is very scenic with large covered porches for a relaxing afternoon. They offered a surprisingly large variety of wine for a small vineyard - several choices of reds and whites. We enjoyed the tasting (3 free and then $1 each) and a glass of our favorite ($5). Our server was knowledgable about the wines and very welcoming. No stuffy wine commentary here! You are allowed to bring your own food, so this can be very economical entertainment. I understand they offer music on some weekend evenings - that could be a fun night out, too.

Loved it!
Jun 2018 • Couples
This is a huge vineyard with beautiful scenery. All of their wines were amazing. Staff was very friendly. We attended a concert being held at the vineyard which was great. Deck seating to enjoy your wine and food and then you can go down and dance and enjoy the music. Will be back!

Bridal Shower
Jun 2018 • Friends
We were here for a bridal shower. The location itself is very pretty. There’s lots of outdoor seating and beautiful views over the vineyard and water. We received 3 complimentary wine tastings. The bar was a little congested with our group tasting wines plus other guests tasting and ordering drinks. The 3 wines I tasted we okay, with my favorite being the White Dragon, a pineapple wine. There was a wedding taking place at the same time as the shower and it felt a little odd we were all still allowed out on the porch as well as other guests, it didn’t seem like the ceremony was that private with a bunch of strangers looking on, but maybe the bride and groom were aware of that. The ceremony spot looked very nice though!

Great fun
Apr 2018 • Couples
My wife and I visited here back in February and returned for a mystery dinner theater. First of all we love the wine here. Red Dragon is our favorite. The scenery here is beautiful. The show was a lot of fun. We will definitely be back.

Not my cup of tea
Nov 2017 • Couples
Our daughter took us here because she wanted to try it. She likes sweet wines but we like dry wines. Their dry wines are not very wine but they do have some very tasty and interesting wines. I even drank a glass of their dry Orange Vignoles. They seem to have a very nice place for events and enjoying a glass or two.
