We've been racing at Joliet since it opened. Biggest complaint: the high power lines running through the pit area; don't want to park under those! Decent facility, just wish the owners cared as much about the drag strip as they do the NASCAR track. Good venue for spectators: plenty of food stands, restroom facilities, bleachers...or if you have the $$... More

Car racing has never been my bag, but if you live close to this track like I do, it has become even less of interest to me. Races are held a few times a year...when they are the noise level is audible. Most of the time it sits empty, which is fine with me. But it takes up such a... More

Great time with the family. Have to get there very early and tailgate or you will end up parking very far away. Issues when leaving event as it is not well organized getting traffic flow smoothly and timely . Your best bet is hanging out for a couple of hours and let the traffic go.

The Green Flag Garage was definitely a great idea for someone who has never been to a NASCAR race. Lots of things that are better to see upclose, and have explained by the tour. Also a chance to have a Q&A session with a driver in a smaller setting, plus photo ops for other drivers walking around in the pits... More

For a Nascar track facility this is the nicest and the cleanest you will ever find, free parking and reasonable charges! been going for years and they continue to make it better each year.

We always enjoy going to the races but they've made changes. The food vendors aren't outside anymore. You need to have a ticket for a seat at the race in order to get access to food. I think there was one "bar" area outside the gates. When it's so hot outside, some cold water would be great...but there isn't anywhere... More

Love to tailgate, and watch the start of the Chase race! Get to the lot early to avoid traffic and get a good tailgating spot.

I went to my first NASCAR race with family including our 7 year old nephew. There was good traffic control getting into the parking area (went early) although we parked in a soggy field where at least one truck got stuck. The speedway is impressive, the race was exciting and very loud. Hearing protection is a must, although some visitors... More

First NASCAR experience and really enjoyed it. I've been to 3 Formula 1 races in Melbourne and I think the NASCAR was more enjoyable! You can view the whole circuit from the stands and the atmosphere was awesome. Before the race, we enjoyed browsing the merchandise shops and with our pit pass, we had a great time checking out the... More

My daughter and I enjoy the Cup races and the Chicagoland track is really nice and modern. It is way out in the middle of nowhere and the traffic control going into the track is non-existent. Get you ice and supplies before you get off the interstate. Unlike a lot of the tracks in the south, no need to pay... More
