This museum tells the route 66 story in one section, and then tells the detailed central Illinois industrial development story in the other 3/4 of the museum. A truly wonderful review of the history of Joliet and central Illinois. A must see!

Had a rushed visit so walked through fairly quickly. Was the first Route 66 museum we had visited so found it informative. My wife enjoyed the merchandise shop.
