A well kept and well done museum. You are guaranteed to learn something! If you visit the Old Joliet Prison beforehand you will get a discount on your admission.

Off the beaten path museum that highlights the secrets of Joliet! The stone quarries that helped build the great architecture of Chicago, Route 66, the diverse history of Joliet. Beautiful building , too. Enjoy!

There is a lot to see here in downtown Joliet. Would recommend for anyone- singles or families to check this out.

A nice small town museum displaying the history of the area and some Route 66 history. A fun photo stop.

Rooftop concert series is always a good time, they have great variety of regional bands and offer snacks with cash bar

A very good museum for a town this size. It covers local history and how that interacted with national events. There is info on Route 66. There is info on breweries that tried for several months to ignore Prohibition. It has a couple astronaut oriented...More

I dropped in on my way around town. I was not aware that Route 66 was here. I went through the museum. Amazing canal reproduction. Beautiful displays.

Very impressed with this location, as well as the other business in the downtown Joliet. Went for Star Wars Day 2018!! Had a blast!!

I went to the nhra drag races, you get to see the race cars up close and meet the driver food is on the high side, but had a great day at the races
