Great place to spend a few hours. Lots of animals and nice playground. The hunting demonstration is nice to attend. The bird show wasn’t really spectacular (but maybe we are spoiled with great bird shows)

Trip to a small zoo which shelters many lions and tigers, mainly animals which have been abandoned, neglected or superfluous after circus shows no longer had use for them. Pleasant and informational trip, we ended up ‘adopting’ a tiger and a lion financially.

Not exactly your regular zoo. Very relaxed visit with enclosures you walk through. Lion feeding demonstrations and actual interactive birds of prey displays where kids are asked to participate. Reasonably priced outdoor environment with basoc snacks and good coffee available. Definitely worth a visit for animal lovers.

This zoo is not a zoo but a shelter for animals. However they present as if they are a zoo. So the experience is outstanding. Feeding the makis and the training simulator for tigers are fantastic to see. Great day out and supporting a good cause too!

This was an unexpected surprise during our recent trip to visit family in Holland. Even my uncle (who is Dutch) didn't know about it, and we went on the advice of his coworker. It was amazing. The animals looked relaxed and happy, and not stressed as they do in some other "zoos", they had so much freedom, which was wonderful to see, and having the opportunity to interact with them was priceless. The parrot and lemur feeding was the highlight of the day. Thank you!!

We visited the zoo recently. We were amazed how much freedom and room to live the animals have compared to English zoos. It was wonderful to walk amongst them. The animals looked very healthy and well fed and cared for. Exceptional value for money.

We tend to visit quite a lot of zoo's with our child, but this one does stand out. It's not crammed with animals; there's even quite some space between them - good for walking in nature. Feeding the small apes was definitely a unique experience and our kid really loved it - highly recommended. The other shows were OK, but we expected a little more from the hunting exercise of the lions. (Even though the concept of preparing old circus lions and other abused animals for returning to (semi-)wild life is honorable.) The two food places are a little underequipped: very small menu and not even the possibility to heat your child's meal/bottle of milk.

A small but then again no such a small zoo where they also do a lot of good work for animals that have been rejected Lovely for a day out, with friends or with children.
You'll be surprised once you're inside. By the way, since 5 June they also have a very nice restaurant near the lions.

Everything is clean and all animals are in good shape. Nevertheless some cages are too small for my liking. But the kattas over there really live like kings (own island a lot of space and trees). It is amazing getting so close to them without any pressure (they choose at whom they jump ) absolutely worth the price (I think it is even too cheap ... everybody who has a little bit of experience with keeping animals knows how expensive a good care is.
