We had great fun today walking along the beach at low tide. The statues are eerie but at the same time beautiful. Our daschund Milo had great fun splashing around in the sandy pools of water. Finished off with an ice lolly on the sea...More

Lovely clean beach with amazing views. Statues well worth seeing, truly breathtaking and there is a good hot food van on the car park. Fab for a walk in the spring sunshine as we did yesterday, wellies are the order of the day

This beach has an excellent location, served by four train stations and free car parks at Mariners Road, Crosby Marine Lake, and Hall Road. The beach itself rarely has very many people, so a great place for a quiet stroll and to take your dog....More

Visited on a cold and breezy day to see the Anthony Gormley exhibit. It was a pleasant walk with the dog and good to see the iconic statues based on the sculptor. Will have to try and revisit when it's a better day. The previous...More

This is the second time we have walked along the beach. It was a beautiful day, sun was shining (yes, in February!). The children’s playground needed tidying up (full of rubbish), people can be disgusting. Great playground otherwise. Lakes are really clean. Beach spotless. You...More

Nice beach and interesting to see the exhibit by Anthony Gromley, only thing to let it down was the way building rubble is used as a sea defence :( otherwise a lovely afternoon :)

The figures are visible most of the time as they are dotted all over and at various heights. You can even see some of them when the water is mostly in.
