Sad to say this museum has shut down permanently. It was interesting but not very well known and didn't have the ability to survive financially. All the amazing collectible buttons were sold for pennies on the dollar.

It was ok I thought the price was a little high to basically go into a few rooms to look. I recently went past and it is now no longer open.

I never knew that buttons were so interesting. They have beautiful examples of all kinds of buttons; many antique. The docents are very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed the visit.

It's an old house in a nice, historic neighborhood (good for walking) and now it is a small museum featuring buttons, quilting, sewing, and local history. You could spend a few minutes or a few hours, and I think men, women, and children would all enjoy it. Once or twice a year they have a flea/antiques market outdoors, too.

The staff are so very wonderful and explain all about the history of why the Button Room is there. It was truly an amazing experience to visit this place.
