Well, our day celebrating my Navy daughter's last few days of her visit to Chicago at Great America was a success until later that evening I realized I had lost my keys! Luckily, my wife had her keys so we were not in danger of being stranded. I immediately went to Lost and Found and filed a report with Barbara.... More

Unfortunately I can not tell you what the park is like as we could not get in. Dispite the pre booked ticket stating it would be open August 22 -28 we turned up on our last day in Illinois the 26th to discover it was closed. We were give a customer service number by the regretful security guard to call.... More

The roller coasters were top notch. Food was expensive. Long lines. Take a lunch in a cooler and leave in the car. Buy the all day refill cup. Take a hat.

I visited Six Flags Great America with my teenagers; purchased season passes for us all. We had a blast on the rides. The longest ride is the American Eagle at 2minutes from start to finish. The other roller coasters are around 1minute long. The food is okay: Papa johns, Coldstone and a bunch of other places. They serve beer throughout... More

This place is reliably entertaining. We live close enough to have utilized the season pass - highly recommended! You only need to go one more time to save a fortune and you get to go to FrightFest (teens love it at night with friends!) We avoid week-ends since you will spend most of your time in lines. Consider showing up... More

Water park closed at 6, so still plenty of time to enjoy some of the other rides. There were some exciting water slides that were open to children in the 42-48 inch range. Something for everyone for sure... and the lockers were $14-18 per day, well worth it for the convenience!

I had children from ages 14-4 five of them. And they had a blast!! The bigger kids was together and I had the smaller two. We had meeting times, the park was easy to navigate. We will definitely be back!!

Me and the kids had a blast. Arrived right before the park opened and got on a bunch of rides right away with 15 minutes wait times. I would suggest getting there around 10am next time (we got there at 10:30am) because the parking lot was really full and people were camped out at the gates for first dibs. I... More
