Very sad picture for a tourist. Great nature around you - that’s the main plus. But the infrastructure is in bad condition. No roads, no signs (only in one place in the middle of the park) no working toilets. Poor deers in the sanctuary- no water, no grass, no shelter from the sun and small area to live in for such amount if animals. And tons of trash in the beaches - nobody even try to clean up the area of national park! But they build some warungs in the middle of nowhere for whom? Better clean beaches and small lakes near them. Very sad picture of human influence on nature even in national park…

Taman Wisata Gunung Tunak is local forest protected by West Nusa Tenggara Province. This is a new tourism attraction in south coast line of Lombok. Presented shimmering ocean blue, white sandy beach for indulge visitor, spectacular highland panorama with Ekas and Sumbawa island away from the hill and wild sanctuary butterfly. The object located at Jalan Raya Awang. Mertak village. Pujut sub district. Central Lombok Regency. If you start from central of Kuta Lombok it is only 35 minute by ride motorcycle and one direction to Bumbangku beach. Start from when you enter Bumbangku beach head to TWA Gunung Tunak, take time only 10 minute to the entrance post for pay entrance fee with amount 5000 idr for person. From the entrance post ride 10 minute to BileSayak beach. Along the way you will see many kinds of butterfly, flies on the middle of the road. After arriving on the beach, you will see there is one minarets on left side hill. You must be continued to left side, parking your motorcycle at down hill. But here there is no people who arrange the parking lot. Then from the parking area, you have to start walk 10 minute up, passing the dense trees with footpath way or have a look the minaret as your's direction.

Nice place to visit. Road is ok with scooter but you can make it with car too ( slow). Beaches were clean and they even had trashes there.

We saw some pictures and thought we have to go there. Less tourism and beautiful nature. After we read that this nationalpark is an eco tourism park, we thought we can’t do anything wrong when we go there.

The entrance fee is about 100.000 for foreign (5.000 locals!). We asked the park ranger if we can get access for 50.000 per person and he said yes. Great.
The roads are in a pretty bad shape and this spot where you have an amazing view isn’t easy to find. There is no sign with a specific name on it. Before you go into the National Park there you can read - please keep it clean. The beaches are so dirty it is so sad... . This nationalpark needs a lot of money and work to be a nice place.
Luckily we got our money back.

Its located quiet far from center city Kuta, about 30-45 minutes driving and I suggest you to go there by motorbike. The road is totally rocky and its slippery sometimes, so don't forget to wear your helmet. The beach was nice and hidden, we went there at noon 11am - 12pm and there are just few people at the beach although it was a public holiday. Maybe its because this place still difficult to access. White sand beach with calm waves, i think this beach safe for swim but I don't know since nobody's swimming the time I went there. Beautiful beach!

Went to TWA Gunung Tunak today. From bumbang beach, the road is not good with a lot of losse Stones. But still we managed to get to bilasayak beach with a motorbike (will take longer than 10 minutes i guess). A magnificent private beach, and you can hike up to the tower. I think it's quite dangerous with no security at all and a lot of wind.

Entrance fee for tourists is 150.000rp (he showed us a ticket with the price), but after bargaining we only paided the local price (10.000/pax).

Look like deserted. A lot of rubbish on the beach and not good for swimming. The poor deer on a little cage without food and a little bucket of water. So sad.... horrible
