Manado is a big city in North Sulawesi. Beside National Park Bunaken of course Manado has other places almost as beautiful as Bunaken. One of them is “Tunan Waterfall”. Tunan Waterfall is located in Talawaan Village, North Minahasa District. It takes about 25 minutes from Sam Ratulangi Airport by car and about 15 minutes walking until you reach the waterfall.The... It's actually a good place to visit, but if you are seeking for a thrilling waterfall, I don't recommend it. If you're looking for picture taking or having fun and picnic with friends, this is a good place to go. The waterfall is located in the village of Talawaan, Dimembe, North Minahasa, North Sulawesi. It's about an hour from the city of Manado or 40 minutes from Sam Ratulangi International Airport by motorcycle. After a rugged ride over semi-paved roads, the environment becomes more and more like a jungle. There is a parking area and a person collecting a few thousand INR for entrance. Then a well-made stone and concrete path leads to the waterfall. This was my first excursion outside the city, and it was nice to see and hear the jungle.... More
