Second visit in 3 years. Took the tour a second time Recommend buying tour tickets in advance since their popularity has increased.
Great tour for children also and are they are welcome.

Awesome!!!!! You shall not regret!
Wife & I attended the tour with Gary this afternoon. WOW!!!! what a great tour, tasting & information overload. I would definitely recommend the $14/person tour fee, and grab a drink before that you can take with you on the tour. What an awesome "little" business who is kicking butt & taking names in the organic space of distilleries.

Great Tour of a Love What You Do business
We enjoyed a Bloody Mary and Orange Whip at the bar with Lexi before our tour. . Our guide Dennis was both knowledgeable and entertaining. So happy to learn they use locally sourced grains and return byproduct to local farmers, and to see many local merchants serving Blaum Bros. liquor. Hellfyre vodka, IPA Gin, and straight Bourbon came home with us. These folks are clearly loving what they do and doing it right since their Oldfangled Knotter bourbon sold out in 1.5 hrs and is available now for over $1,000 a bottle!

Great place to visit on your trip!
We were part of the distillery tour on a Saturday at 3 PM. I booked the tour a couple weeks ahead of time online, they did sell out so I would recommend getting tickets ahead of time.
This was in October 2020 so masks were required, and patrons who wanted to just get a drink had to be served at outdoor tables. Only tour patrons were indoors, and we wore masks the entire tour - besides the 5 minutes at the end during the sampling.

The tour guide Dennis was excellent! - extremely knowledgeable, spoke very clearly, and made the distilling process easy to understand and very interesting! I have a greater appreciation for their spirits! We also got a few bottles to go.

We didn't have time to stay for a drink but they have a great menu they pair so well with each of the spirits they offer. Definitely recommend stopping here for a visit and tour if you have time!

Dennis was our tour guide. He did a great job of speaking loud enough for the group to hear and slowly in explaining all great attributes for speaker. Must say however, he spent alot of time talking more about other distilleries he’s been too and enjoyed. This was my second time being at a distillery and Im sure everyone has their own spin and approach but seemed weird to not talk more about your own place. My wife and I are bourbon drinkers and the bourbon here was not good, the gin and other spirits we sampled tasted horrible and not to our liking. Not quite sure how you can lead a group talking about how other distilleries make their product then at the end give 3 bad samples- Would not recommend this place for drinking purposes if you actually enjoy bourbon

Great experience!
The distillery tour was so interesting and very fun and informative. Dennis was very knowledgeable and I'm amazed that they managed to pack that much information into 45 minutes. The group was small enough that it felt covid-safe and I loved that you could order a cocktail at the bar beforehand and take it with you on the tour. Tasting was a great little variety and the whole atmosphere of the place was very nice. Despite Dennis's humor and expertise, I also have to admit that Mark was the real star of the show. Do it!!!

Stopped here on a week trip to Galena, IL. Wesley was our tour guide and gave us an hour long tour of the distillery for only $10. He was very knowledgeable, humorous, and kind. Just visiting for an hour you can see the type of homey vibes the place gives off. Once leaving, we kept saying how fun of a place it would be to work. Best part was the yummy samples at the end of the tour of course.

iffy TOUR Road Trip -

A chance encounter and road trip itinerary lead us here. We were greeted by Wes near the entry, given a brief introduction, and discovered a tour was imminent. We joined, had a few minutes till tour time so, while primarily beer drinkers, acquired a (bourbon) lemonade (Wes's suggestion) to enjoy on the tour. Our 8 member group enjoyed Wes's narrative and tour through the production area. We moved at a nice pace, learned about the history, processes, rules, and more. Questions and conversation were encouraged. Ending with a product tasting we experienced first hand some of the nuances of the distillers art.
Thanks to Wes and the Blaum brothers and their staff for for a great road trip encounter!

Tour was great
Dennis did a great job of holding the attention of a rather large group on the tour. He was quite informative, polite, and engaging. I'd certainly recommend the tour, and the bar area is pretty nice also for after the tour to enjoy some great cocktails.

Fantastic and fun experience

The best part of the experience is learning how much work goes in to the making of the many products of Blaum Bros. The guide for the tour, Dennis, was fantastic not only with his knowledge of the process but in keeping everyone engaged by using humor during the tour. I would highly recommend this as a destination for anyone as not only was the tour great, the drinks made by the bar staff were out of this world awesome as well. I would highly recommend the Blaum Bros. Bourbon and other spirits as well to anyone as they are super smooth and do not leave you with any unpleasant after taste. Overall top notch and tastes better than a lot of the “big name” bourbons and whiskeys out there on the market today.
