If you have an interest in snowboading and skiiing and are beginner, intermediate or just want t go somewhere affordable, this resort is a great choice. There are quite a few runs, they have fake snow so in season you wont come across snowless patches and its very easy to get to and cheap to get to.

Not a very big and challenging ski-resort, and there are few slopes (no black) - and due to it's location in South of Sweden at the time of writing this review two of the main runs had no snow. BUT it's location to Denmark makes it attractive, and it suits anyone who are beginners and want to satisfy their ski craving at this longitude. It's frustrating they only have full day passes, and not half day or for ex a 10 run tickets as I find the prices very expensive to spend a whole day in a very unexciting (going down the same hill again and again). Staff get bonus points, so nice and friendly - smiles and greetings all around!

90 minutes from Malmö you will actually find sloopes. On the backside of the majestic Hallandåsen they have crested a small skiresort. Eventhough its 3-4 degrees plus they have 50-60 cm of snow. If you str a beginner or dying to see snow (because driving here its never any snow) this is the place.
Decent prices, very effecient rental service. Excellent staff etc

But as the headline says - 80% of the people here are Danes - so if you have a problem with them - dont go.

Vallasen is just under 2 hours from Copenhagen by car. Believe it or not they are unofficially the worlds best snowmakers, so you can go skiing even if it seems impossible in Copenhagen. Normally the season is late December to early March but I recommend that you check their website for snow report, just in case.
Ski and snowboard rental is available. The area is for beginners and intermediates, and those that love skiing. There are fun parks with rails, jumps and boxes. They have two chair lifts and some T-bars. Skiing at night is possible some days. Don't forget to bring sausages as they have outdoor BBQ. Great place

Went here with my family for a single day.. We have been skiing for the last 5 years in the Alps. This place is very good for a single day, just to get some snow under the skiies.

We had book everything from home, nice and easy to find the stuff, without any queue. The stuff we rented was good quality even though it was late in the the season. The area it-self has good slops, good signing for beginners to trained. If you are advanced, you will be bored. When that has been said, the lifts could be upgraded, they are fairly slow and missing holders for ski'es etc.

The restaurant didn't have the capacity to take the huge load for lunch, we had to wait outside to order. The day we were there, the Internet was down, maybe that was an issue for the speed..

I can recommend the place for single day, or 2 days if you are beginners.

2 hour drive and we could hit some nice albeit basic slopes. We rented online and stuff was ready for us in our numbered booth upon arrival!
Skiing was good - recommended especially for day trips, beginners and families.
Cafeteria and kiosk were. No great experience. Food was fine. Service was friendly. Wait was very very long. Luckily we grabbed lunch early around 11 and "only" stood in line for approx 40 min. At actual lunch time the lines stretched outside and we dropped any dreams about a nice cup of hot chocolate.
So yeah... Bring food and go to your car maybe.
All in all a good outing.

All what you need on a nice skiresort. Perfect ski slopes and lifts, shops, cafeteria, and possibility to rent equipment.Probably the most southern skiresort in Scandinavia.
