This out of the way private collection of stained glass (many Tiffany Church windows and others) and clocks and watches is a delight. One hour tour was very informative, but I plan to return and spend many more hours on my own. If you're in to clocks and watches, you might need most of a day to fully explore the exhibits. Significant history on Illinois watch makers, as well as the better known makers on the east coast.

A very interesting museum with beautiful displays. The two gals who did the 1 p.m. tour (one for the stained glass floor, and the other for the clock and time pieces floor) were quite knowledgeable. Even though there were only two of us, they did a fantastic tour for us. A gem in Evanston, IL that you should visit.

What a great museum! We loved both the stained glass and clock portions and the 1PM tour was really informative. The clocks are separated by geography and the differences are stark and really interesting. Would allow for 1-1.5 hours.

Wow! For being a relatively small museum of 2 floors, they really make great use of the space to show off Mr. Halim's collection of masterpieces. The first floor features beautiful stained glass windows, many of them rescued from churches. The second floor features an array of time pieces from both the US and abroad. I especially liked the small video screens scattered throughout the second floor displays that provided visitors with the ability to see the moving parts of the clocks. The creativity and craftsmanship on display throughout the museum is awesome. Staff members were very welcoming and were happy to answer the questions that I had. Parking is at a premium in the neighborhood. After several laps around the block, I was happy to finally discover the free parking provided by the museum. It is down the alley which is located almost directly across from the museum's main entrance.
