Views to die for. For non walkers really good scenic drive. Quiet, clean and very peaceful. Very informative visitors area which is open air and toilets there. Would definitely return. A hidden gem.

Spectacular views over Lower Lough Erne on a good day.
Jul 2021 • Couples
Spectacular views over Lower Lough Erne.
This can be reached in a car through the Lough Navar Forest drive or alternatively you can walk up the very strenuous Cliffs of Magho trail from the carpark at the bottom.
There is also a poignant small memorial to Allied aircrew who lost their lives during The Battle of the Atlantic in World War Two at the rear of the car park.
The car park is free.
I would have given this a five star review if it hadn't been for the litter and a used condom lying in the car park.
I would recommend visiting this viewpoint.

Is there a better view within Ireland!
Aug 2020
I planned to visit this viewpoint and so sought directions as to it's location as most people would do. The entrance is sign posted as well. There is a very good leaflet to be had from the Tourist Information Centre in Enniskillen that gives you well explained details entitled Lough Navar Forest Drive and it was very helpful in respect of the seven (7) main points of interest and how to get to them either by car or, with some, on foot. This is a seven mile long drive that has been created to allow the public to enjoy the scenery within the forest area. Magho Cliffs, at a height of 1,000 ft as a viewpoint is one of the best I've seen and we were lucky to be there on a warm sunny day to see a bird's eye view of Lower Lough Erne and its islands. To the East are the rounded Sperrin Mountains, to the North lie the Blue Stack Mountains in Donegal while to the West there is Slieve League, Donegal Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Stunning views
Jul 2020 • Family
When you reach the view point, the views are absolutely stunning. We didn't walk any of the trails as we had grandparents with us. We sat for an hr chatting, taking in the scenery as the weather was perfect. You could bring a picnic...there are picnic benches. Fantastic location. Newly tarred carpark. One way system. Warning...do not follow Google maps...completely off track...frustrating. Just follow brown scenic signs out Shore Rd, Enniskillen. Fab day trip. Highly recommended. Local government web sites have really good information on this drive, as well as many others. Staycations has made us appreciate what's in our local area. Hard to beat Mother Nature.

Amazing views
Jul 2020 • Family
Stunning views from here, definitely worth a visit. Some of the roads to the lower lakes need repaired and are riddled with potholes. We followed advice about the directions and got there without any problem... just put Glennasheevar Road into the sat nav.. takes you straight there 😁

Navar Forest
Jul 2020
Disappointing visit to Navar Forest. The signposting in the area to find it was non existing and after asking in a local shop we finally got clear directions.

On arrival we set off to look for the waterfall and again signposting was horrrendous. Whilst there were some posts with directional arrows others were clearly missing. There was no boards with “you are here” detailing further directions. We came to a cross roads with two arrows yet none of which said waterfall.

Having driven two hours we were bitterly disappointed and certainly would not recommend to others.

Stunning!

Gorgeous views from the top and a few picnic benches to enjoy it. Lovely drive up. Seems to be a decent walk to the waterfall so go prepared. Pull into car park of 1st viewpoint to join trail to waterfall.

Lovely area...... Very poorly signposted!
Jul 2020 • Solo
Much better signposting...... And perhaps having Google Maps remove or update their directions..... Which are VERY difficult to follow and also lead one to a road that is closrd and marked 'private'. The area is lovely so it is a pity to spoil it with poor or absent directions.

Stunning views! Don’t miss this!
Sep 2019 • Family
Just a short drive from Enniskillen this viewpoint is not to be missed. Stunning views over Lough Erne and surrounding countryside. The equivalent to being in a small plane or copter.
Best visited on a clear day to maximise the range of sight.
Highly recommended for all age groups. Beautiful!

This was a spare of the moment turn off...
Absolutely the best part of our trip to Enniskillen. Numerous breathtakingly beautiful views, I didn’t think places like this existed but have seen it first hand. 100% a must is visiting the area.
