    Magical animal fun!
I adore this place, just for a day trip but today we enjoyed an Armadillo experience with Craig. He was passionate and informative and we had great fun feeding and playing with Ahmed and Matilda, before spending a couple of hours around the rest of the farm. Wonderful place for kids and big kids alike. Great facilities that appear accessible for those with less mobility, reasonably priced food and drink on site. Would highly recommend a visit.

A brilliant day out for all ages
I’ve not visited here for at least 25 years but was a fairly regular visitor as a child. I have many very fond memories of coming here and although on this visit i didn’t recognise anything this isn’t to the detriment of the experience White Post offers. As a day out it was brilliant with a friendly welcome from the lady on the ticket scanning setting the day off to a great start. We did decide to pay for some animal food and to do the tractor ride and both these I highly recommend doing. Feeding the animals is still fun even as an adult and the tractor ride was both fun and really informative. The staff here are fantastic so friendly and welcoming. Especially the the ladies in the tearoom who despite being very busy kept smiling. The tearoom itself served quite a wide choice of food and what we had was really nice and a good portion size and the cakes are lovely. Overall it’s not the White Post I remembered but I had an amazing day and would definitely go back and not leave it as long this time.

    Thank you
Thank you to the staff at White Post Farm who hosted our reception year children from Wellow House School. It was a wonderful day spent with the animals and your guide was tip top! Our children had a fabulous time and couldn't wait to tell their parent all about their day.

Perfect experience for our daughters first visit to a farm.
We came for a visit on Thursday, myself, my husband and our 9 month old baby girl. I just wanted to write an email and a review to thank your staff for such a lovely visit. We arrived early at 9.30 and to be honest didn't even check what time you opened. There was a male and female staff member near the car park that made us aware that it didn't open until 10am. We said we would go back to the car and wait until 10am but the lovely lady staff member, invited us into the cafe to have a hot drink and wait there until 10am. She was so kind and caring. Sadly I didn't get her name but she had short blonde hair and was with the male staff member who I believe was to do with advertising. If you do find out who she was, please say another special thank you from us! This gave us the chance to have a drink and feed our baby her breakfast, change her and we was ready for 10am to see the animals with her. It didn't seem much but to us it meant so much. To sit in the cafe, instead of struggling in the car with our baby. Also all the staff we encountered from the cafe staff, to the man who fed the meerkat, to the lady at gift shop/entrance were absolutely lovely. They all couldn't do enough for us. It really makes your visit so much nicer and was such a lovely experience for our baby girls first ever visit to the farm. Even though she is only 9 months, she absolutely loved it and had so many encounters seeing the animals up close. Its a lovely walk round and so well maintained. I can't recommend it enough!

    Excellent day out
Thank you for a really enjoyable day out. Really liking the farm makeover, best part of the day was the sheep racing….. although it was heavy rain Martin/Antony made it well worth getting wet through…. Very entertaining!!!! Thank you 😊

Pups and pumpkins and brilliant staff
Came for the pups and pumpkins night and just wanted you to know how amazing you all are. The event was so smoothly ran, so well priced, very inclusive and loads of things to do!! Gemma and (I believe Ant, the commentator for the competitions), and also the Lady dressed as a Witch in the gift shop, are all a credit to you. I would highly recommend anybody visit the Farm. Really hoping there’s a Christmas Event! Thank you all

My favourite bit was standing in the lovebird aviary holding food in my hands while the lovebirds landed on my hand and ate there food ! Really good value full dY out would recommend to anyone .

Visited during Feb half term on our way to our holiday destination. It did what we needed and passed a couple of hours. We have some excellent farms near us in North Yorkshire and I found this quite rundown in comparison. There was enough activities to entertain our 4 year old and the staff were great especially with the demonstrations. I also liked the fact you could freely stroke all the animals and feed them. We had lunch in the cafe which was fine but needed a good clean there was food everywhere on the floor and tables. Didn’t look to be anyone cleaning up between people sitting down. At £34.40 (inc 2 bags of animal feed)for 2 adults and 1 child for not a full days activity I think it was quite expensive.

We treated our eight year old animal-loving daughter to the WPF half day farmer's experience yesterday. I can't say enough good things about our time there, and we will be making it a regular learning opportunity for her as a result. Tom was allocated as her farmer guide, and he struck a wonderful blend of being thoroughly engaging, fun, clear with instruction and careful with safety aspects. He crammed so many terrific animal encounters, farm related jobs, teaching opportunities and critter cuddles into the three hours, and my daughter loved every single second. As regulars to WPF we thought we had a good idea of what to expect, but those expectations were far exceeded. I highly recommend spending the money on a farmers day experience, and we will certainly be back again for more!

We went August 18th.We had a lovely time. Everything was socially distanced and the play park was closed for 30 mins whilst they cleaned all the equipment. They announced it on the tannoy, so we walked around a bit , fed the sheep and went back when it reopened. There was hot and cold food and drinks available to eat outside, plus ice cream and snacks. (Please buy food from here rather than bring your own as they are trying to keep the place going) It was a great place to go for our first day trip out since march.
There's plenty of toilets and there have always been outdoor washing stations to clean your hands. I felt safe. And we had an added bonus of the getting good weather.
Ps. You can only book online before you go as they can only allow a certain ammount of people in.
We love this farm and ive been going since i was a child, so please keep coming to let my son enjoy it for many years to come. Thanks

Visited late May 2021. Lots to do for both adults and children. When we visited, play area was closed due to covid, but some indoor attractions were still open such as the reptile house, a little slide and sandpit area, crazy golf, and one of the barns. There's a massive outdoor play park though complete with climbing frame, trampolines and swings; and pedal go karts with a track to go around. You can feed the animals (mainly sheep and goats), walk around the wallabys, there's the bird of prey area which is new and they have different things in throughout the day. Highly recommend going to see the flying demo of the birds of prey and the sheep racing- the commentator was brilliant! We took a picnic and there's plenty of places to sit. There's a lovely cafe which serves food too. They have Bluebells ice cream to buy too which is delicious. We stayed for 4 hours which flew by- and the kids were only on the play park for about half an hour!

We went to White Post Farm to do the Wallaby Experience and got an added VIP Experience with Goats!

An hour with the wallaby’s getting to feed them, be in their enclosure and hear all about their little personality’s. You do get a little stroke as well which is nice.

It started pouring with rain so we were so lucky to get taken inside and finish off our experience by cuddling goats! Baby goats! And man they are so cute that you never want to leave!

Value for money: excellent
Cuteness factor: Overload
Would I go again: Yes book me in!!

Looking for something to do half term we decided to have a visit to White House farm mainly to do the meerkat experience. Couldn’t book in till 2 o’clock so decided to do the goat experience in the morning and make a day of it.
We enjoyed both the experiences, taking a six month old goat for a walk on the lead and then going into their enclosure to hand feed them, but the meerkat experience was absolutely brilliant. We got to prepare a parcel for the meerkats putting bugs in a box with screwed up newspaper for them to break into, but the best bit was hand feeding them. Craig who led the experience was great, making sure everyone was involved and putting some of their food on our shoulders and head for them to find. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and it was the best £30 I had spent in ages.

We had an excellent day at the farm. It was our first time at White Post Farm & we will return. There was lots of animals to see, my little one loved feeding them, although we purchased the food on arrival & majority of animals you couldn’t feed (no feeding signs on a lot of the animal enclosures) The wide range of animals was excellent too. Being able to hold the smaller animals to is an excellent idea. Although sunny it was quite windy so we didn’t spend too long in the outdoor areas. My little one enjoyed the indoor play area, especially the two play sheds. This was perfect as it was too cold for the outdoor play area.
We had lunch in the cafe. The food was delicious but I feel slightly over priced for the light lunch we ordered.
I would definitely recommended White Post Farm, there is plenty to do & you can be there for hours...we will be returning.

Day trip, ended up signing up for the year… thanks to Craig!! What a great member of staff, very knowledgeable and informative. Took around 10-15 mins to discuss with us about the meerkats and other animals and insects around the farm. Have us a good insight into what we can expect when visit. Great venue for our son who is 2 years old.

Cost £45 for 2 adults and 1 child for the day, upgraded to the annual pass which was £130 extra for the year.

Opportunity to feed animals which is a great learning experience for my son.

Soft play area available as well

Top day out!

I haven't been here in probably 17 years so was sort of like coming for the first time. Me And my friend bought our little toddlers for a day out and can honestly say we thoroughly enjoyed it. The lady who scanned our tickets started the day off well because she was just so nice ☺️, what a lovely farm, all the animals were clearly well looked after and happy. The "goat mountain" was quite a sight And the food winch was genius. It's so much bigger than I remembered, I don't know if it's been expanded over the years . The wallaby walk was lovely And the children's play area outside was pretty impressive. There's also an indoor play area which was equally as good. We also went to the tea rooms and were pleasantly surprised at the low prices and selection of food and drinks. Usually these places charge through the roof but not here. The staff in the tea were also lovely. To be honest every member of staff we saw looked really happy to be doing their job. The gift shop on the way out is also really reasonable And some really nice thing's there. I honestly don't have any negatives at all and will certainly be back.
