We went to the Wheels O' Time Museum-- so cool! Must be our 4th or more trip, so we walked through to see the new displays. What a sweet surprise to see the Silver Streak (which I forgot was on display-- The Famous 1926 Tin Lizzie of the adventurous Gypsy Coeds of Bradford Illinois) I had to get the book... More

I think, it's one of the most exciting local museums, it must be popular with history lovers, families, school kids ... anybody, really. It's fun to walk around the museum. It has thousands of fascinating exhibits and artifacts that give you the very clear sense of history and of how much was done by the previous generations ... and also... More

Yes, go. We spent close to three hours enjoying the variety of exhibits in the four buildings & outdoor train track. More than just "wheels," though the scope, restoration, & information about the vintage vehicles was interesting. We were encouraged to "play" with any buttons, levers, or hands-on-materials available. That's one reason WO'T would be entertaining, as well as educational... More

My type of visit was actually for school but that wasn't an option. Anyways, it reminded me of my grandpa with the old cars and tractors. There was a lot of random historical stuff from Illinois. It was a really good experience with my classmates! My tour guide (Joe) was a great tour guide! All in all, an awesome time!!... More

Marvelous collection of old cars and trains, but not limited to wheels and transportation. Four buildings include lots of other eclectic stuff, ranging from clocks to steam engines, and from frontier kitchens to unusual machines. Great for kids, with lots of interactive displays and helpful docents. Not all of the buildings are heated, so it's best to go on a... More

While the name (and the train outside) would imply a museum of only mechanical transportation, it is much more. Not obvious when driving by, there are four buildings on the property. There is the train, which is totally accessable, bicycles, replica planes, a farm machinery building and lots of cars. There are also many other displays ranging from an old... More

All ages will find things to see, operate and enjoy. A little boy -- not much more than a toddler -- beamed as he rang the bell and activated the sounds of a real locomotive while in the cab of that engine. So many of these cars, tractors, fire engines, trains, bicycles and even clocks are part of Peoria's history.... More

This is a great little museum for young and old. They have a great display of old cars, tractors, trains. We took my father in law and he had the best time showing us the stuff he used as a boy.Don't miss this little treasure when visiting the Peoria area

Very pleased with our visit to the Wheels O'Time Museum. At first we thought it was a train museum, but it had much more to offer in farm machinery and cars.

Thank Tom M
