Follow the small signs from the town of Padules, and turn right down towards the top car park. On a weekday, in September, the carpark was free and empty and approx a 10min walk down (and 20min walk back up) to the bottom carpark (closed during our visit). There is a recreation area, for a picnic, and a charming (closed) cafe called El Molinillo de la Abuela plus a small fuente for drinking water. Best to wear old trainers, or river shoes, to hike through the pristine mountain water as it forms into natural pools and flows through a 2km gorge and down waterfalls.…
