My wife and I enjoy going to a casino once in a while. We aren't gamblers. We don't play blackjack or roulette or poker or any of the table games. We play the slots. For $10 apiece. When we run out of quarters, we go home. Our favorite casino is at the Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. But we've also lost a few bucks at casinos in Vicksburg and Natchez. Add Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, Illinois, to the list. Located at 3000 South River Road, adjacent to the Tri-State Tollway at the northwest corner of Devon Avenue and River Road, the 140,000-square-foot casino opened in 2011 in Chicago's northwest suburb, minutes from O'Hare Airport and nestled among several luxury hotels, including the Hyatt Rosemont, Courtyard by Marriott Chicago O'Hare, Hampton Inn and Suites Rosemont, Hilton Garden Inn Chicago O'Hare and Crowne Plaza O'Hare Airport. It features over 1,000 slot machines in denominations from one cent to $100, 65 table games from blackjack to craps to roulette to Baccarat to Mississippi stud poker to Spanish 21 to Texas Hold 'Em Bonus Poker and seven bars and restaurants to satisfy any taste. For fine dining, reserve a table at Hugo's Frog Bar and Chop House. For burgers, stop at Flipt. For a buffet, the Marketplace is the best choice. Rivers Casino advertises the most jackpots and the biggest payouts on table games. So I wasn't surprised to read some reviews from customers who were critical of their experience at Rivers Casino because--can you believe it?--they didn't win at the slots and lost too much money. You don't go to Las Vegas expecting to beat the house, do you?

Due to the COVID-19 I waited at night for 30 minutes when I get there I play roulette the lady asked me one time to put my mask up so I did I want to go play baccarat and again I was talking to somebody that I knew right next to me and I guess they seen my nose I wasn’t physically putting my mask down there’s no sign says that there’s a certain amount a limit to where you can get told before you get kicked out they just kicked me out and I’m a Regular customer to be having a mask or anything of that sort and they kicked me out worst place ever worst customer service ever. I’ve never been treated like that in my life when I clearly had my mask.

Went there with the virus new rules. Went to Flipts for a burger. Asked for water and was told I would have to buy one. Asked how much and was told $ 4.00. Whoa that seems high for water. They do not serve coffee either. After spending $21.00 for two burgers you would think you could get a glass of water. The soda was also $4.00, after playing the machines I thought that the machines were better in price than the water. We found one of the girls who walks around and got two waters for a $1.00. Guess next time I will bring my own drink. I guess that is the price of fancy .
