The experience was fun and worthwhile
Nov 2019
The escape room is located in the basement of what looks like an accounting office building. If it weren't for the picture on this site it might be difficult to locate so allow a few mins to find the place.
The 'escape room host', Jacob was really friendly and enthusiastic. He provided hints when we needed, but not enough to give away the answer. He did a great job.
The puzzles were challenging, but not impossible. (We had all experienced just one other escape room previously and are at an average skill level). The youngest in our group was 15. The mock up of the room was much smaller and simpler than the other escape room experience we had with another company, but this one was also less expensive.
The four of us solved the 'Italian Job' escape room just within the allotted time.
Overall we all felt the experience was fun and worthwhile.

Just Okay
Mar 2018 • Friends
I’ve done other escape rooms, and this one was just okay. Clues were a little abstract, and the rooms are showing wear and tear.

Could’ve been better
Feb 2018 • Couples
Our group of ten had done a few different escape rooms elsewhere and this wasn’t up to the others standards..... one major blunder was the hosts forgetting to close a door which you were supposed to spend time opening, part of the challenge......

Intro and staff were fine and friendly but the puzzle wasn’t particularly challenging and the clue system almost too helpful. Other sites require greater attention to detail but this place did have some nice touches, too.

Wouldn’t steer you to or from this place..... probably a good beginners location.

Amazing for nerds
Jan 2017
This place was spectacular. We had a group of advanced degree math nerds and loved every second of it! I won't give away details, but I spent the next few days thinking through how everything worked together, and it was so concise and perfect. Reminds me a bit of the game "Maniac Mansion" for Nintendo, one of my favorites. The engineering behind this room is extremely well done. Wish I could do it again, can't wait for the next one!

Wanted to love it, but liked it instead

This is one of those room escapes that is going to appeal to some, turn some off, but does the genre enough justice to be worth the time to try it out.

Getting to the building is easy, but be prepared to call in to say you're there, as at least on weekends, the front door to the office building is locked (likely a landlord thing).

Once inside, the initial presentation is good. You're given a short intro video that is well-produced and a good touch to outline the story of the room.

The room itself is where the split between love and hate will happen. Without giving particulars, it's a quite linear room. You're mostly all going to be working on one puzzle at the same time. Personally, I am not a fan of this approach because it gives most of the group nothing to do for extended lengths of time, as opposed to rooms where there are multiple puzzles to do at once and everyone can divide and conquer. Here, if you get stuck on something, you're going to grind to a halt very quickly. Now, some groups like to work with everybody all focusing on one thing at a time as a group. So, it's really how you prefer to work a room.

There's also a dexterity puzzle that, in my opinion, kills the momentum of the room entirely. As I mentioned with the room being linear, when it comes time to have to do this, it must be done to advance. However, only 1 or 2 people can actively work it at a time. We found the difficulty level to be unnecessarily high on it, as well, so most of the group was left with nothing to do for a good length of time.

Now, that's not to say everything in the room was bad. In fact, there are some really clever mechanics in play as you progress that, in over 35 previous rooms, I've not seen done before. I can't really divulge them without giving things away, but one in particular was very unique and uses a solving technique I've never experienced, but absolutely loved.

I think with a little tweaking, especially with the dexterity side, this room would be really great. I still think it's worth a run if you're interested in the hobby, but keep in mind the type of room it is and make sure your group is going to be a good fit before tackling it.

Amazingly creative event - extremely well executed. Don't be put off by the office park location. It required team work, problem solving, and fun thinking. Great entertainment for teens and adults!

Fun! Fun! Fun! Definately worth checking out!

It was my first visit to escape room. I went with a group of friends and didn't really know what to expect. It turned out to be a lot of fun! Definitely challenging and team building experience. I would highly recommend not only for night out with friends but also for team building events for companies or a pre-game for a bachelor/bachelorette party.
