This is my favorite park in Vermilion county. I may be baised though, because the chapel at Bunker Hill was the sight for our wedding. We also have attended many family reunions at the Hideaway. The park is very peaceful unless there is a big event being held, and even then the park is big enough that you don't get... More

Level terrain makes for great walking, bike riding, or cruising around. Numerous shelters for picnics and the "Bunker Hill" area is fantastic to walk around. Great spot for fishing as there is multiple areas to cast your line or even launch a boat. Very spacious. No need to fight for space to have some peace and quite. Safe place to... More

This is the real prairie experience. A most lovely drive right from the start. As you are winding about the park. It is quite large many places and site's to experience. Wildlife is abundant. This is a wild safe haven for them and they know it. Be aware!!!!! Due to the creation of the man made lake from the nearby... More

This is a nice quiet place to go and just think and watch the wild life. Park has an attraction of an old village with a train car and old building from the turn of the century
