I called to make a booking for 15 people and previously my friends had called, because we wanted to go for a drink and since they told us that you could only drink if you had dinner before, well we told them that we would also have dinner. After telling them this, they tell us that they will not take the reservation since it is a restaurant and they want people to spend at least € 25 (what do they know if I am going to spend that or more, also being 15 people). , with that excuse they didn't even let me make the booking. I’m quite upset because I have never received such derogatory treatment before in a restaurant or anywhere I went. With that little call with that attitude, neither my friends nor I will return to this place, what a shame! …

Excellent night. 11 out of 10. It was a special night because we were celebrating our friends engagement and I also proposed to my partner. Paul, the head chef, and his team were amazing. They helped with the surprise every step of the way. Food and drinks were amazing too. Thank you again!…

Comfortable and clean room but it was far too hot and the very loud noise till the early hours in the beer garden totally ruined the stay. I wouldn't recommend to anyone who actually wants to sleep.

Hi Nicola- I’m sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us on account of the conviviality below. Your point is well made though and for the benefit of other potential visitors who read this review it is important to note that our rooms are located above and to the rear of our village pub and restaurant. From time to time customers chat and laugh in the beer garden until about 1.30 am which may disrupt light sleepers.
