The vulcano information center is very interesting. Very good even for children.
Don't miss to climb up the sag mountain (the vulcano) which is close to the information center. A very romantic path leads to the vulcano summit.
Science is a difficult thing, kids usually get bored. This place however demonstrate science as an experiment, there are great installations demonstrating the effect of earthquakes, eruption of volcanoes, lava-flows, etc. Very exciting, I felt sorry when I had to leave.
