Every single person in this laugh out loud play is hysterically funny. Make sure you go!!! I loved Rochelle who played Brooke in the performance. She is so fun to watch.

Looking for complete entertainment? Visit The Windy City Playhouse for two hours of totally awesome theatre! We saw the production Southern Gothic, where the audience wanders through the set while the actors perform right next to you. These professionals never stepped out of character while...More

Thanks so much for this lovely review! As a small nonprofit, word of mouth is our best form of advertising, so I really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to say all this. Hope to see you back at the theater soon!

The reviews for Southern Gothic were rave all the way back in February and it took me until June to get a ticket and see it. This is what is called an immersive theater experience. The audience of 28 (limited so that it is not...More

This is probably a unique theater experience. you are seated in a small southern house and the play takes place around you in 3 rooms and patio. You cannot possibly hear all the dialogue but it is so well written that you never really lose...More

I have never experienced immersive theater and I was more than a bit apprehensive. But this was really fun. The actors will not interact with you -- they look right past you although I was standing in the way of one and she actually said...More

There is metered parking on the street -- on Irving Park and along the side streets. The night we went we were able to park very close to the theater.
