I had my day one today. great experience. Very clear guidelines throughout the day. Instructors are patient and understanding. No pressure, all information is clearly explained and shown. If any of the students is lagging behind, the instructor spends more time with that student during a break or in-between. It is also a funny class. I had a great day and can't wait for tomorrow. I will be definitely taking more advance classes in the Spring. Thank you guys!! Little edit, day two was even better, lots of practice and not only related to the exam, but practice that helps to get ready for road. Towards end of the day the focus was state test mainly but after those two days, test is not a problem anymore.. Thank you Kevin Tim and Brad for those fantastic two days. I will see you at the intermediate course next Spring.…

You should definitely take a class from Ride Chicago if you are thinking about riding a scooter or motorcycle. We wanted to be comfortable on a scooter (and properly licensed) before our trip to Bali. I am really glad we went this route. We were knew we wanted our class M license because we wanted scooters over 150 cc displacement and you need an M class for your international scooter license. We were unsure if we needed to take the motorcycle class or the scooter class to do this but called and found out the scooter class will provide us with an M class. We were also faced with the fact that we don't have a scooter to practice on or take a test on. Going through Ride Chicago helped us with both these things. Sign up was simple on their website. We then had to take the written test at the DMV to obtain our permit and bring it to the 1st class. We showed up and were provided with a helmet and gloves. Tim checked us in and was our instructor for the day. You could tell that he was passionate about riding motorcycles/scooters and balanced it well with teaching proper riding safety. It was a blast learning and riding for 5 hours. It was rather warm and since we had to wear jeans and long sleeve shirts, they gave us lots of breaks to keep us hydrated and cool in the "lounge" (which are plastic chairs under a tree). The instructors were great at giving personal instructions and encouragement for each rider. The class was side by side with the motorcycle class. They did certain sections combined and a few sections separate. Once everyone is comfortable with turns, stops and weaves, he walked us through what 4 parts of the state test would look like. He had us practice a few times and then gave us some great pointers and tips. I honestly don't think I would have felt so confident taking the test without being able to try it a few times first. Since we didn't have a Scooter, we had to take the test with them on Wednesday because they provide you with a scooter to test on. Honestly, this is a way better experience than the DMV anyway.…
